Have I gotten this right? |

Karma is energy. Action and thought are energy manipulation, resulting in karma. Karma requires equalization as the Universe requires balance.
Karma exists on a personal as well as a National/Country level. All persons in a country are responsible for the actions of those in power, and in effect, the actions of all persons in a country manifest those in power.
Enough positive or negative energy surrounding a specific point results in an attractor, a self-actuating source which is not equalized through normal means. Negative attractors are catastrophic.
The rules changed in 2008, with "Heaven on Earth" becoming reality. This means that we are fully responsible for what we create/co-create. In thought and in action (same thing, different form).
I am still seeing people engaging in deceit and force and entrapment, interfering with others' evolution as well as effectively directly fueling the Bush Regime, even if they are democratic (at least in vote, if not in actual thought and action). Engaging in Republican action strengthens the Republicans, yes?
All negativity at this time only serves to increase the overall negativity in our country, and thus, the overall suffering of those in the country as the attractor ripens and hatches.
All is said to be in Divine Order. I see a great deal of trouble brewing, a vast amount, resulting in tremendous change, hopefully for the better. The =opportunity= for change for the better is there, at least.
Will people either learn that any negativity simply contributes to their own suffering (especially in a Unity Consciousness)? Or am I merely worried because I can't see the bigger picture?

5. I don't care for him a great deal, but I agree with this concept and observation. |

I myself am addicted to energy for energy's sake, and am working through such ignorance and poison. I can no longer take in violence and darkness in any measure (I'm eagerly awaiting the approaching soul food from Pixar, in contrast!).
When will we all release this lower aspect...

Let me share this. Part of my new living arrangement requires me to attend faith services that I do not agree with for four weeks. Two down. This morning the topic happened to be Ekhart Tolle's newest book. The speaker is against it! No big surprise given the audience. However, when we got to the study portion, the other "leader" didn't even know how to pronounce the word, "duality". I thought of you. They have no concept of it, so steeped in it they are. It was a most uncomfortable time. But, since I was there I did share just a bit of what Tolle (who the speaker constantly referred to as Toll-A) actually means in regards "ego". I did not want to get into a long discussion. There was just a space and it seemed appropriate for me to interject a bit. I sat out the remainder of the meeting. (kept my mouth shut) Some things lately have shown me that even if I THINK I am in the wrong place at the wrong time, there might be a VERY good reason. Enlightenment cometh!

but the last questions seems the most important to me: will people ever learn that negativity contributes to their own suffering?
I sure hope so, but I suspect not. There are too many people in this world who comfort themselves with misery. Or protect themselves with it. It's a blanket, a shield, maybe even a sword. I suppose I have been guilty of this myself.
I read something a few weeks ago, just a line about how people anticipate a dire future in order to feel better about the present. I have been accused of being a "doomsayer," so this line really struck me. Part of my job, as a transportation planner, is to anticipate the future, and with gas prices rising as they are it's hard to see any good new on the horizon, at least as far as my agency is concerned.
But perhaps my doomsaying is really only about making me feel better? Perhaps my negativity contributes to my own suffering? Not that I'm suffering, at all, but you know what I mean. Perhaps as an agency, our collective negativity contributes to our organizational suffering?
Ah, the heck with it. I think I'll start riding the bus to work.

4. I agree; I'm an infantile ego caked with resentment (alcoholism) |
|
and am working the tools to be free of the natural direction this entails. I'm feeling better and am grateful that there is a mechanism towards freedom from the condition, and that it is possible to eventually be OUT of that negativity. And I'm wondering what it's like, and if having accomplished that, if I can attract something positive into my life.
What happens to those around me and the country?

3. Had a thought the other day |
|
That it is ultimately *all* group karma that rules. I found that idea pretty depressing, so I am letting it go for now.
