The Mythology of The All: Volume Six-The Passion of Chaos |
|

“The act of creation was the sole property of Chaos until, for good or ill, Chaos gave it away. “ -“The Philosophers of Jaros”
All the wondrous variety that is the multiverse was wrought by the hand of Chaos, which was its divine mandate. Chaos shaped the stars and the planets to compliment them and the moons to compliment the planets. All were life forms in their own right, following an incomprehensible plan to exist and thrive, thereby giving purpose to The All. Chaos caused billions of worlds to then spark their own life in forms as varied and plentiful as the stars themselves. Order played his role of assessor and judged that Chaos did good works; life would thrive and send its energies to The All and become one with The All as was the plan for existence. Life evolved and thrived and some of it died almost before it started but all was in balance. Chaos reveled in its purpose and sought to create ever more complex and intricate life so it shaped the rock and fire of countless worlds and the resulting climates shaped the life that existed there. And Chaos was pleased that it served its purpose and yet it was a daunting task. So to insure a multiverse that constantly changed and moved, Chaos shared its gift, the divine spark of creation, with the life forms evolved enough to wield it, and imagination was born to a billion races. The divine spark of passion was shared and affected those filled with it in amazing and unpredictable ways. Chaos had truly made the multiverse its own; a universe forever in flux and flow, unanswerable even to the beings that made it.
A billion beings on a billion worlds looked to the sky and first thought “what if’, “who am I” and “where did I come from”? It could be said that Chaos was the first God, or at least that he allowed the Gods to be created. Order contemplated this and even The All for the first time in eons took notice of its own creation and was intrigued. Chaos served its purpose better than could be expected or even predicted. This above all things concerned Order the most.

1. Ooo, a drama has started. |

Is Order getting jealous of Chaos, or is Order so wise that it could see the problems that lie ahead?
Hmmmmm...
Thanks, shadowknows69! :)
