A found object post
There have been posts here before about lost objects reappearing mysteriously. This one is my latest, and it happened yesterday. Months ago I lost a tear-drop shaped, bluish translucent stone from a Peruvian chandelier earring. I figured it was gone forever since it probably fell out while I was out somewhere. Yesterday, when I got home from work, it was laying on the carpet in plain sight just outside the doorway of my daughter's bedroom. Neither one of us had any idea where it might have come from. I've been doing a lot of new, intensive meditation work since the beginning of the week, and I'm thinking that someone I can't see materialized it for me to get my attention. Thoughts?

1. Not quite the same ..
But, a couple of days ago I got a new purse that had a chain with the logo on the zipper tab. Last night I bought a Feng Shui jade turtle on a red cord and added that to the chain. I was out earlier and stopped at the grocery. I had trouble getting the alarm set on my car and that means that a door may be partially opened (learned the difficult way, dead battery). That meant that my keys were in my hand longer than usual, and I had my bag open. I was at the door of the store before I got things settled and noticed my charm was gone! The chain broke I guess. After shopping, I looked in the car and trunk where I had been moving things around. Nothing. I got in and drove through the parking lot wondering what it means to lose a charm that represents "Long Empowering Life". I decided I needed to go back. I remembered I walked through the cut through where the sprinklers had been watering, it smelled so good. There is was, wet but solid. I never found the logo or chain, but turtle and vsm are reunited.

Did you mention your loss here when it happened? Do you mind sharing what type of meditation you are doing?

2. I have to ask--do you have any pets?

For some reason when I was reading your post just now I had a mental image of a cat swatting at that charm--playing with it.

Do you have a cat living with you? If not, have you ever had the experience of thinking you saw a cat in your house?

I have NO idea why I thought of a cat in your particular situation, but I will tell you that my cat has been known to play with found objects and little stuff that he runs across here in the house. He especially loves the plastic rings off milk jugs, my daughter's hair ties, and my hoop ear rings...
