I bought this used from Amazon and got it a few days ago. The first section gives in depth information on the aura and the chakras. The second gives the steps to the meditation to change your aura, and the last talks about which colors to meditate on for different situations. I have worked with the light for protection for many years, but not in ways to change my aura.
The only thing that puzzles me is that Martin gives some of the chakras different colors. For example I've always heard the solar plexus chakra was visualized as yellow. She uses pink. And the sixth chakra is more or less gone, replaced by something called the "spleen chakra" which is on the upper left side under the breast (or pecs, for the men). I'm trying not to let this get into the way of working with the text, because if I've learned anything in my years of study, it's to be flexible.
So far working with the harmony and balance and inner peace rays has helped me a bit with getting situated with a new job. It's call center work, not my favorite type of job, but it's easy to get and I have experience in it. I figure once I get more familiar with the meditation I'll use it to help create a different type of job that's more suited to my temperament.
