Is this hurricane part of the bad weather the Astro folks projected?

Is THAT what is happening down there in the Gulf and Texas?

3. The Sun will be opposing Uranus as Ike comes in.

Erratic, unique, unpredictable, lots of thunder and lightening perhaps and electrical problems. Sudden shifts. Affects lots of people. Abrupt change. And with Uranus being in oceanic Pisces,
I suspect the fears of major inundation will come to pass.

4. the storm surge

is supposed to reach something like 20 feet in Galveston. On the evening news it was at 5 feet and already splashing over the seawall and flooding a nearby building. At 20 feet, that building will be totally under water.
