For some reason all of the animals in my house have decided they need to be as close to me as possible this morning. I'm talking about seven dogs and four cats. All trying to get as close as possible. Right now they are all outside my bedroom door trying to get in. WTF?!?

1. Perhaps it is a localized phenomenom |
|
My kitty acted normally today, and my landlord's pets are acting normally, too.
Anything going on in your environment to frighten them? Loud noises, unusual scents?

2. Did it suddenly get cold? |
|
We just had our first really cool night. I'm thinking they want reassurance or maybe just body warmth from you.

3. depends on their moods. more info is needed. |
|
sometimes we radiate a nurturing and beatific aura some days and that just lures animals like a literal magnet.
i've had times when i was in such a just loving mood (i was crushing big time and anticipation of being nearby just set me off like a lantern) that some friend's menagerie of pets just gravitated from the entire house onto literally draping themselves over me. multiple dogs, several cats, even weasels literally were struggling to lay atop me purring and relaxing and being petted. i looked like some sort of embodiment of nature with them all draped upon me, it was rather unnerving to my friends.
on the other hand you could be near the onset of a sickness. or there's an upcoming spite of bad weather or natural phenomenon. or they could be spooked by ghostly entities and are seeking shelter -- or are sheltering you. or they are just plain hungry.
so there's many possibilities. but we need to know what their behavior is like to give a fair assessment. i like to think that perhaps you are in love and deep tranquility and the animals pick up on it. i choose that because that's the happiest interpretation.

8. At drum class last night |
|
we did vary from our routine by singing our drum songs instead of playing them.Several do invoke some of the African dieties. I wonder if that might have something to do with it.

4. Well, it doesn't loo like you are in Earthquake country.. |
|
that was my first thought. I'd be on the lookout for naturl phenomenon, because they sense that stuff much earlier than we do!
and may I say...WOW 7 dogs and four cats? are you running a rescue shelter, or just really into animals? :)
(then again, i have 3 kids, which is just as crazy! lol)

By the way.I have been working on a nieghbors house today.Three of the cats followed me over there and hung out around their house today. Whats wierd is now that I am home they have all gone back to behaving normally.

I often think I was born at the wrong time because that's my ideal way of living...all about Tribe, baby!
My cat has days like that, especially when the wind is going... But also remember the equinox and Merc retrograde is in the mix too.
Let us know how the weekend energies go...

6. I've noticed it this past week too!! |
|
I'm in the Northeast, and my cat and Bichon baby have been UP MY BUTT every minute of the day!!! It is getting cooler here, but it's not at bedtime , at all. It's all day long when they are not napping!! My dog especially. He sits and STARES at me like he's trying to tell me something!!! As I'm writing this, he's sitting under my desk chair sleeping, and when I move to the living room to watch TV, he's be right up there on the couch with me!! It is VERY WEIRD!!!
