Can somebody enlighten me on what's going on today? I am feeling so much pressure inside that I feel like I'm going to blow. It actually started last night, to tell the truth, but it's been building today. I've been really wound up and short-tempered, even though I've spent most of my time alone this morning, and Mr. MG was the same when I spoke to him just now (he's been fixating on the oddest things and getting angry about them). I'm not even sure how to describe it...I was able to calm down by making a concerted effort to breathe deeply and mellow out, but it didn't last. Going to go do it again in a few minutes--find my happy place. ;)
So what IS it? Are we building up to critical mass or what? I can't put this all down to the election, although the more I think about it I presume that the election is one facet of it--"it" being a massive shift "any minute now". Are we at another breaking point? Can anybody enlighten? :hi:

3. Oh cripes--you mean like the year I was BORN? |
|
No wonder I'm a mess!
So this meat cleaver I have in my hand--I should just stick to trimming chuck meat and not use it on Mr. MG?
Thanks, Stella--I knew I could count on you for the astro aspect of it.
Hey, guess what just came up on my iTunes?
I have these moments all steady and strong I'm feeling so holy and humble The next thing I know I'm all worried and weak And I feel myself starting to crumble The meanings get lost and the teachings get tossed And you don't know what you're going to do next You wait for the sun but it never quite comes Some kind of message comes through to you Some kind of message comes through And it says to you...
Love when you can Cry when you have to Be who you must That's a part of the plan Await your arrival with simple survival And one day we'll all understand One day we'll all understand One day we'll all understand
I had a woman who gave me her soul But I wasn't ready to take it Her heart was so fragile and heavy to hold And I was afraid I might break it Your conscience awakes and you see your mistakes And you wish someone would buy your confessions The days miss their mark and the night gets so dark And some kind of message comes through to you Some kind of message shoots through - And it says to you...
Love when you can Cry when you have to Be who you must That's a part of the plan Await your arrival with simple survival And one day we'll all understand One day we'll all understand One day we'll all understand
There is no Eden or Heavenly gates That you're gonna make it to one day But all of the answers you seek can be found In the dreams that you dream on the way

I *LOVE* scream therapy (we are talking primal scream, yes?)! When I've employed it, things shift immediately!

Time for some grounding. There is a lot of energy in the air right now.I would recommend every one do grounding exercises until it passes.

7. I've got the same feeling, just trying to stay calm |

Last night we had to have a distraction, so I went with DH into Portland to see The Wet Spots perform as the opening to a burlesque show. Nothing distracts like T &A. Hope this does not offend anyone's sensibilities. If it does not offend be sure and look up The Wet Spots and their hilarious video on YouTube.

I've been doing a lot of visualizations in the past few weeks to conjure up some good fiction plots. Sometimes I feel like I'm "hiding" when I do that, but on the other hand, it preserves my sanity.

Don't forget, someday, to check up on the Burlesqe Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. Great place. I have them friended on my myspace also.
I haven't decided if I'm ready for burlesque yet. I enjoy the interaction with the crowd (one on one dancing) so much that it might be too much of a restriction for me. However, I found a lady here in G'boro who is willing to teach me; she's an old perfomer of the art.
Hope it was a good show!!

8. Obama's grandmother just died. |
|
There's about ten threads on it already. Maybe you were tapping into that energy of great sorrow on the eve of what should be a happy time of winning the Presidency for him. I'm sure he knew it was coming since he probably was keeping in touch by phone in regard to her health. I'm sure there is a lot of sadness in his heart for not being able to be by her side.

Interesting that you picked up on Toot today. When I think of someone out of the blue like that, something's going on with that person, definitely.

My heart goes out to him. I had a feeling Toot was going to pass before the election. But she'll be watching from the other side (and helping, I'm sure).
I think Toot's passing is part of the energy shift I've been feeling instead of the cause of the odd feelings, if you know what I mean. It feels like there's SO MUCH going on...

17. Well, unfortunately no. |

Spent a couple of hours creating a flyer for someone before I started work this morning - volunteer, unpaid work - finished it off on my lunch hour and emailed it to them. The person, who runs the committee, I sent it to sent it back a couple of hours later - reworked with a different photo that was misaligned and blurry and said how many copies should she print? And then wants to know where I will distribute the flyer that she reworked. I don't know why this has me just super annoyed. She can be an annoying person but she means well and she usually doesn't get to me.
I am turning my computer and phone off and going to bed with a good book. Maybe if I am lucky, I will fall asleep early and end this more-annoying-than-usual day.

16. I cried for three hours this afternoon |
|
for every reason and no reason at all.
I think Toots fell on her sword for Obama.
It's an old model but I hope he feels her blessing.
Let's maybe be less self sacrificial in the future.
Peace in our time.

I think we are all just at our breaking points today... I felt very strongly that Toots did what she came here to do and perhaps she can help him in this next phase better from where she is at now. He was blessed to have such a strong woman on his side to raise his mom and him and be there when he needed her. It's his turn to show what he learned from her for his children and his soon-to-be greatly extended American family.

him, instead of trapped in her weak body. This way she will be able to be with him all the way...from Election Night to the Inauguration and beyond. I had a good cry like Stella, but am feeling better now since I think she really did choose to go now.

FWIW, Bright Eyes burst into tears just before bedtime tonight--he's been saying he feels like crying for the past few days, and finally the dam burst--also for no reason at all. Pretty potent stuff we've got going on here. I guess we all just need to make it through tomorrow--for a variety of reasons.
I agree with you about Toot--I think she knew she could be of better service from the Other Side. It's what I suspected when I heard she was gravely ill.

23. It's been a very weird day for me, too. |

Frustration and things just NOT working right. For instance, I came out of Lowe's with my daughter at about 7PM in absolutely pouring rain, stuck the key in the door lock of my car, and NOTHING. It just spun around in the lock. We were locked out. In the cold drenching rain and wind. Called the hubby, he drove out, same deal with his key. Called the police department to see if they might could help us get it open (they USED to do things like that), and the damn woman answering the phone actually SAID to me, "Oh, we don't fall for that. Call a locksmith." OK, I can get they don't do that anymore--and why--but she was downright RUDE. So, we ended up calling a locksmith, who cheerfully opened it in less than a minute to the tune of $69.95. So much for our plans to go out to dinner to celebrate victory. sheesh It's been a really weird day. Tomorrow WILL be better. It MUST be. ;) :)
