The Stars This Week: "A New Path" - November 10 - November 16, 2008
A New Path

11/10/08 - 11/16/08

Circle November 12 on your calendar! When love planet Venus enters pragmatic Capricorn, and expansive Jupiter sextiles eccentric Uranus, you'll discover innovative approaches to old issues. Plus, the Moon is full in values-based Taurus. November 16 highlights Mars' entrance into philosophical Sagittarius when the dialogue heats up around people's beliefs.

November 12: Venus enters Capricorn

As Venus leaves nomadic Sagittarius and enters earthy Capricorn, your attention turns from freedom issues to the more practical matters in your important relationships. Capricorn is a sign that loves commitment. Any energy that you are expending that doesn't feel like you're getting a return on your investment will not seem worth your time. Instead, you want to devote yourself to a relationship that brings you long-term happiness.

November 12: Jupiter sextile Uranus

This is an extremely innovative, exciting time as expansive Jupiter forms an opportunity aspect to forward-looking Uranus. Both of these planets are interested in the issues of independence and freedom. Thinking outside of the box comes easily now. Of course it will take you to act upon all of those great ideas! Make sure you get out of the house and explore a bit. You are likely to meet interesting, exciting people and your social circle may widen, becoming more alluring than it's been in a while.

November 12: Full Moon in Taurus

Any full Moon is an emotional, high-tide time when you can assess where you are emotionally. Whenever the full Moon is in Taurus, the Sun is in Scorpio because the Moon and Sun are always opposite each other at a full Moon. Taurus rules money and the material world as well as the themes of value and worth, so this is the area where you have strong feelings right now. Scorpio, a sign of power and other people's values and money, are in this mix and you may feel pressure to meet someone else's needs or agenda. This is a perfect time for you to do something that helps you to feel materially or physically comfortable. In the days following the full Moon but before the next new Moon on November 27, take the time you need to get in your comfort zone.

November 16: Mars enters Sagittarius

Whenever action planet Mars enters a new sign, your own course shifts to include the new themes. Sagittarius is the sign of the traveler, so this is the perfect time to get out of your home environment. You'll feel restless, and it's important to use this energy! Sagittarius is also a sign concerned with philosophy, religion, ethics and morals. There is a bit of the crusader in this placement, and you are likely to get fired-up over your beliefs. Allow your personal philosophy to guide you now while allowing others to have their own beliefs.
