of the desert savannah that compromises that part of California. Global warming has a part to play too, however, what a lot of people don't realize is in deforesting the trees and plant life to build subdivisions, it causes the winds to increase through the canyons. We have always had Santa Ana winds and fires to cleanse the wilderness areas in So. California. It's part of the cycle of life, but these fires are really getting monstrous and almost uncontrollable. Mother Nature has gone on a rampage from being wounded by greedy developers. It's scary because were I live we haven't had any fires of note for over that amount of time. We are way overdue.
