the new names are freaking me out more than I expected

Does the energy of the site feel different to anybody else? I don't know who anybody is any more. It's like starting over, getting to know everybody all over again.

I have to say, now that I think of it, that I actually feel better. I think that the names that many people took better represents them. They do feel different, but for me, it's a good feeling.

My fear is that I won't remember who is whom once they take the red lines at the bottom away. I bookmarked the name change thread just in case... However, I can see myself thinking that I'm talking to one person when it's really someone else.

If I changed my name, I think that I'd put my old name in my profile and leave it there for a while.

2. honestly I JUST noticed the red text at the bottom!

I can't say this feels uncomfortable or negative, just different. I am a Scorpio, I am pretty private, and I guess I just did not realize how comfortable I had become with the certain set of characters who frequent this site. Suddenly now there are people whose names I don't recognize (at first glance), even though they are the same people it feels weird.

I'm sure none of you would ever think I was shy or retiring, but I spent many months reading the entries on this site and getting to know you before I felt comfortable and brave enough to post myself.

I would be seriously freaked out too, without the red text at the bottom. I hope they keep it up for a year or so, because I think my long term memory is a lot better than my short term memory.

I'm a Scorpio too-- I always screw up those psychological tests. I don't think they are designed for Scorpios.
