Wow, what is going ON energetically this week, especially today?
Whew...........

All around, chaos, drama...much of it EXTREME drama. People are so angry and flipping out, even normally calm, spiritually centered people. And it's not just with those physically close to me, it's people all over the country and in other countries with whom I've interacted today.

Things are going wrong everywhere I turn -- not just with me, but those all around me -- some trivial things, some major, but the end result is that people are highly, highly agitated.

I was driving home and asked that very question out loud, "What is going ON?" when a hawk flew so low in front of me I was afraid I was going to hit him!!!

Yikes, as my primary totem, that got my attention. I drove very, very carefully, and shall stay in for the evening for sure.

Things feel extraordinarily unstable.

Anyone else? What may be happening astrologically today that is at play here?

Hugs to everyone...if you feel as I feel, you most certainly need it. :)

2. I can certainly RELATE! Crazy week!
Lots of people getting their panties in wads over the least little things.

I personally have been very depressed & philosophically questioning EVERYTHING in my life.

Things seem to be ungrounded & "up in the air".

Hope it changes soon.

3. LMAO - you won't believe this.......
A dear friend and I have been laughing back and forth all day. It started with me saying, "I'm fine. I don't have my panties in a wad."

She had NEVER heard that expression (she's in her early 50s), and it cracked her up, so it's been used repeatedly throughout the day.

It's been the theme for the day. ;) She blew a gasket with one of the many ongoing dramas of the week, coming to a head today, and just wrote "my panties are now ripped off!"

How funny you used that same expression.....lolol

7. Well, you know what they say about "great minds thinking alike"!
I'm in my early 50's, too, but have heard that saying forever. Maybe we just have waddier panties 'round these parts. LOL

Don't know about you, but I usually associate "my panties are now ripped off" with a more blissful event, if you know what I mean. ;)

10. I was wondering the same thing earlier today.
The co-workers are either wanting to crawl under their desks and sleep (myself included), or they are flipping out. One dear woman had something like a seizure and was finally back today. The doctors don't know what happened and can't find anything wrong with her. She was incoherent for 3 hours. WTF is going on???

13. some people are in a releasing phase and don't know how other than to flip their lid
others in a healing/integration phase. sometimes the body needs work that can only be done by guides/allies during sleep as the person needs to be out of body. I have read of psychics saying the see angelic type healers remove and replace energy parts that are too damaged to be healed. maybe everyone is due for their so many thouasand mile tune up, get their chakras balanced, filters & sparkplugs replaced etc

14. It feels like some sort of critical mass is impending....
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 09:35 PM by OneGrassRoot
Another observation...

At several other spiritual boards with people I've "traveled" with online for the last 10 years, I've witnessed something very interesting (on edit: over the last two weeks).

Granted, this is just my perspective and my oh-so-humble opinion.

Keep in mind that I'm the least "woo-woo" person of the bunch. ;) I don't claim to know anything, nor do I claim to be enlightened. Of late, I have released the need or even desire to understand (except for wanting to understand what is prompting today's insanity). I stay open, I flow as best I can, and I read and interact not so much for the sake of achieving some sense of enlightenment, but because it is familiar...family.

Much as this board has become. :)

Yet what I have noticed is....many of these people who are looked upon as mentors/spiritual leaders/healers, are nearly IMPLODING with ego and arrogance.

The same vibe of religious intolerance that so many have railed against over the years and led us on a SPIRITUAL, rather than religious path, is the same vibe I'm observing. The "I know the truth, you don't, so you are misguided." And they are lately practically ramming it down others' throats, and turning off those who may be newly on their spiritual path.

I'll tell you what; if I had stumbled upon people "preaching" in that manner, I would veer from that path in a heartbeat. LOL.

Again, just an observation. Perhaps if I were more enlightened, I would perceive it differently. ;)

15. The Shift is Hitting the Fan
Any stuff we have - and everyone has STUFF - is getting provoked. If you have a button no matter how small and tiny it's gonna get pushed at some point. Then the choice is whether to just keep reacting or find a way to heal/clear/remove the stuff behind that button.

as a friend of mine said we are leaving behind the picean age where we look to one person leading and moving into aquarius where we lead ourselves. we still help one another but it isn't one is the master and the other followers. we all know some things the others do not so we take turns more sort of thing.
I hope i am making sense. I am very spacy on the verge of flu or detox thingy today. blech.

19. Just as mowing the lawn without cleaning up deposits from the family dog......
when energy starts moving at high rates the icky things that we forgot were there or thought too gross to even try to clean start hitting those speeding blades creating an even bigger mess than before. The more we can put into cleaning up the deposits ahead of time the less there is to hit the fan. it looks at this point that things aren't going to let up much so the best anyone can do is try to work with the energy. Got repressed anger? Put it into vigorous physical activity, pound some pillows, kick some old cushions, growl and jump up and down like Yosimite Sam and hurl insults. Stuff like that. When I feel repressed rage rising up I think to myself It's Medusa time! and picture myself with laser beam eyes and my hair turning into twining snakes GRRRRR! and then try to direct the energy in as useful a way as possible instead of shoving it back into my Shadow like I used to.

At times like this my teach advises opeing up the chakras and letting the energy just flow too. Ground and shield so you don't pick up other's stuff at the same time, picture the chakras opening up like flower buds unfurling, and let all the crud fly out pushed by all the good vibes being gifted to us by the Universe/Goddess/God/Great Spirit. If you feel like to sweep up the expelled bad vibes and picture purifying them in a fire or offer them to the earth as compost materials as she can make good use of them just as physical manure makes good compost as well.

thank you for the hugs and good wishes :pals:  I am getting used to going though this cycle every couple 3 weeks now since fall. Just got to remember to drink some extra water, eat decent, take some extra c just in case, etc. I should do more foot soaks with epsom salts which are great for detoxing. studies have shown that the minerals in i really can be absorbed though the skin and are key in helping the body remove toxins.

Hope you feel better soon -- just got over that flu myself. It's most unpleasant. Lie around and let someone take care of you for a few days. Sending you love and light.

27. That's right! I'd forgotten that
we are actually entering into the age of Aquarius right now. I couldn't figure out why my emotions are all over the place the past couple days too, maybe that has something to do with it.

...Mahala Gayle of the Asclepius Light Center in Seattle points out that February of 2009 is a very important month because it is literally when we enter the Age of Aquarius, and the changes already being seen start to become really profound. As the song from the 1960s hit musical Hair says, "When the moon is in the Seventh House, and Jupiter aligns with Mars, then peace will guide the planets, and love will steer the stars: This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius." This precise alignment takes place between February 13 and 15, and, Mahala believes, is the beginning of the change of the age.

...

12. 'like bouncing reality on a trampoline' - daily aspects from PlanetWaves
Age of Aquarius? Come up with another reason…
http://planetwaves.net/pagetwo/2009/02/12/dawning-age-aquarius-not/
Dear Friend and Reader:

And what was that, that we all just experienced? In the past week, we had a lunar eclipse followed by the Sun making conjunctions to Nessus, Chiron and Neptune. Neptune was the last of the series. What we bounced through - this patch of rattling celestial movement - was the Earth and Sun aligning with these planets. There was plenty more - Uranus and Saturn of course still in a tight opposition, which is like bouncing reality on a trampoline.

Next, Mars is moving through Aquarius at somewhat under one degree per day, close to the same pace as the Sun. It, too, will make conjunctions to Jupiter, Juno, the North Node, Nessus, Chiron and Neptune before entering Pisces on March 14. While that’s going on, Mercury will be back in Aquarius, making conjunctions to the same series of planets.

snip

They don’t quite have the energy of Aquarius down, either. There is a theme of brotherly love to Aquarius, though this is balanced by an almost obsessive drive to conform to what others are doing. Aquarius crystallizes patterns, and one of the reasons we are having a variety of breakdowns at this point is to break down some of the more dangerous patterns that have come to grip our society. If we are going to experience brotherly love, we need to recognize one another as individuals and not as parts in a machine or a crowd to conform to. We need to claim our freedom as individuals before we claim our freedom as a society.

24. I think this week was horrendous
Edited on Fri Feb-13-09 05:49 PM by Grateful for Hope
Add to the list the horrible plane crash last night (and, the fact that the wife of a man killed on 9/11 was on that flight). This was an awful, awful catastrophe.

Certainly less catastrophic, but awful also, is the fact that my son was laid off today, and, a close friend of a co-worker was also laid off today.

Then there is the weather. It was so windy yesterday and last night that it was pretty scary driving home from work (1 1/2 hour commute on a highway that has moderately high altitude). This winter has been very severe.

Not the greatest of weeks, to be sure.

As an aside, I saw a strange aircraft last night near my home on my way home. It had a number of lights in a row in a straight line. It hovered for as long as I could see it. It definitely did not look like a typical aircraft.

And, one more thing: My boss told me today that on his way home from work yesterday (he lives on LI and commutes to CT), one of the bridges was lined on both sides with police cars, and, the bridge was narrowed down to one lane. There were police looking in every car that passed over the bridge. Neither of us heard anything about this on the local news. What was that about?

On edit: I was not in a good way this week. I was often negative in my thinking, and, I was very tired. I also had some unplanned obstacles in developing an application I have been working on for quite a while. These obstacles set me back a couple of days.

30. Goodness....
It HAS been so challenging, for so many, in a multitude of ways.

I am so sorry about your son being laid off. Truly. Hopefully it will be short-lived and the beginning of a much brighter path for him.

The tragedy of the plane crash and the weather-related deaths and destruction are horrible. So intense.

That's the word: intense. That's what this week has been, as far as what I've observed. I've been very fortunate not to have been directly affected by all the intensity and drama, but I've been in the center of it....it's all around....I'm doing my best to maintain and not get sucked in.

I pray that as of today this all lifts, for you, for everyone.

28. breaking down patterns
Shallah wrote "one of the reasons we are having a variety of breakdowns at this point is to break down some of the more dangerous patterns..."

I felt the tumult this week, too, but for me it was a thrilling ride. We have been scrambling at my office because of the economic stimulus bill. I can really see the breaking down of old patterns in that. Trying to stop the cycle of disinvestment and endless tax cuts that have contributed to the negative economic spiral. And a few bold Senators trying to break the endless cycle of partisan standoff, or maybe that was just another power play.

Anyway, lots of people around me had their panties in a bunch (that's how I've always said it), but I seemed to sort of float on the wave of insanity around me.

B-)

For me, it was a really good week, if crazy, and Friday felt like Christmas. I actually wore bright green to work that morning, totally (totally!) forgetting about Valentine's day. Of course, everyone around me was wearing red, so it looked like Christmas too!

33. Just getting home from 24 hours with six 10 and 11 year old girls.
I have survived the "panties in a wad" set AFTER they stayed up all night giggling--and I have emerged out the other side. I'm not making light of this either. I feel pretty durn lucky at this point to have survived.

Can't speak for the rest of the world, but yes, I too have observed that "people" are a might touchy of late. I'm extremely glad this is a long weekend for me and mine. We plan to just duck and cover while this all settles down.
