Reconnective Healing

I went to a local New Age Festival today and I had a Reconnective Healing session. I was attracted to the booth so I signed up for a session. I had never had any energy work before but this was very interesting. I have to say after feeling the energy shift and change in and around my body during the session; something was definitely happening. After it was done, I realized that I had heard the founder of this technique interviewed and had even looked up his web site before. http://www.thereconnection.com/. I am still feeling the after-effects of the healing, it is a nice feeling. During the healing it was like the energy went from a tingling to a kind of pressure pushing lightly on my body, to a slight headache for a few moments, to waves that felt like going downhill on a roller coaster. I am fascinated by this.

Who knows what will come of it, I am gratefully a very physically healthy person at this time in my life (except for sinus allergies). But getting more in tune with the Universe is something I have definitely been wanting. And I knew I could use some frequency tuning, I can get into pretty negative mental states.

2. I know someone who took

the first stage of his training. She had her own qualms about the guy and the healing.

I called around my town and there are two who have been trained - but all have to ask for $333 (unless it's gone up). That kind of took it out of my ability.

As the thread states, I had The Reconnection done. The $333 will probably never go up because it has an energetic meaning. It's my understanding that the price is supposed to be 333 of whatever the currency is.

I am now good friends with the person who did my Reconnection.

4. The lady I encountered charged less.

I couldn't have gone the $333, I am glad the lady I encountered charged less. Most likely because it is such a new idea in our area. We have Reiki practitioners, but I had not seen anyone doing The Reconnection before that I recall.

I am glad I did it. Yesterday afternoon I actually felt the energy in a storm as it moved in, like static electricity in my body. I had never had that happen before, the hairs on my arms stood up. I need to try new things that show me that there are energies in this Universe that I have never been taught about. It helps me feel like I really can look for the spiritual.

5. I suspect that what you had was a Reconnective Healing session rather than...

The Reconnection. The Reconnection takes two days to do. It has to be done two days in a row. If that didn't happen, then I'm almost certain that it wasn't The Reconnection itself.

They're both very valid but different things.
