For all the children who suffer....
and who are in pain ~ children of all ages, from 1 to 111 ~ I send a shower of love and appreciation and infinite hugs.

I saw Michael Jackson say in a fairly recent interview that, to know him, simply watch this video and pay attention to the words.

"CHILDHOOD"

Written and Composed by Michael Jackson.
Produced by Michael Jackson.

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for the world that I come from
'Cause I've been looking around
In the lost and found of my heart...
No one understands me
They view it as such strange eccentricities...
'Cause I keep kidding around
Like a child, but pardon me...

People say I'm not okay
'Cause I love such elementary things...
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood
I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like pirates in adventurous dreams,
Of conquest and kings on the throne...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me,
Look within your heart then ask,
Have you seen my Childhood?

People say I'm strange that way
'Cause I love such elementary things,
It's been my fate to compensate,
for the Childhood (Childhood) I've never known...

Have you seen my Childhood?
I'm searching for that wonder in my youth
Like fantastical stories to share
But the dreams I would dare, watch me fly...

Before you judge me, try hard to love me.
The painful youth I've had

Have you seen my Childhood....

1. so sad...
Edited on Tue Jul-07-09 09:31 AM by Blue_Roses
just all the way around ... just so sad:cry:

He seemed to have struggled all his life and watching those videos of him as a child with that big red hat on singing, with his whole life before him, makes me so sad to see that such a musical genius wanted want we all want: to be loved. I know he felt the love of his mother. You can just look at her and see the love for him and all her kids, but the violent force of such a dominant father was too overwhelming for a child's innocent spirit. He never got a chance to be just a child.

I read where the mother and father no longer live together. Good for her!

I hope he is at peace now.
