Signs you are on the right Path...
I was reading some older posts and I noticed a lot of posts about time synchronicity so I thought I would throw in my two cents worth.
Noticing the synchronicity in time is a good sign that you are on the right path and are waking up in consciousness.
It is a direct communication/omen between you and Spirit.
We need to pay close attention to the thought/thoughts we are having at the moment we see the omen/communication.
We can also see these omens for example when we have a clear thought and then immediately see a rune in the branches of a tree or a crack in the sidewalk etc.
Sometimes the Universe will agree with you and at the exact moment you make a statement, there will be a confirmation in the form of a noise from the world, such as a bird sings or a branch snaps.
We call this "The World agreement".
We also hear these sometimes during conscious astral projection as there will be loud snaps and thumps sometimes as we begin to project.
You will know them from a regular sound when you hear it with a little practice..they are heard more within yourself.
You will also find more flashes of Seeing and Knowing and as we learn to pay attention to our inner voice ..it will become louder. This is called the Voice of Seeing and Knowing. It sounds like someone speaking directly into your ear and the sound also goes deep inside your head and your whole body "hears" it as well.
You know the voice I am talking about..its the one that when you don't listen to it..you end up saying "I KNEW that was going to happen"...etc etc..and regret not listening to your own higher self.
It is a little voice until you start paying attention to it..then it gets louder.
The more we open to the Higher Self, the more we get in way of communication.
The radio can answer you, a stranger passing by answers you, the tv announcer says exactly what you asked about, you may dream about it, hear it clairaudiantly, see it clearly in the mind's eye..etc.and so on...so many ways it gets simply amazing.
We are not alone in our journey. Spirit is always with us nor are we forsaken.
Many are also awakening and many have gone before and many will follow.
At any point in your journey, you know as much as anyone at that point and you will receive all you need to succeed on your path.
There are many paths home again, in fact, all paths will lead you to the top of the mountain. Some just meander around a lot longer while others will head you straight to the top of the mountain.
Let me say it is a pleasure to share this part of the journey home with this group and I wish you all well.

1. Very well put
Very succinct and practical wisdom. I've been wanting to tell this group to do a little less asking for information from anyone else (astrologers, futurists, whatever) about "what's going to happen." Find a few moments to do something or experience something that makes you happy, so you can connect to your own core. We all have our own individual paths to attend to, and the conglomerate of as many as possible being exactly where we need to be is what's going to make the best that is to be happen. Our truth is not in our stars, but in ourselves. Check in with yourself regularly, and you'll find the guidance you need. The stars are a good road map of a general area, but only you can connect deeply with your Source and Guides.

3. Thats funny
'A little less asking"

The problem is someone will try to convince you
That they know the answer no matter the question
Be wary of those who believe in a neat little world
Cause it’s just fucking crazy you know that it is

Dave Mathews Eh Hee

For some reason that line from the Dave Mathews song Eh Hee has been running around in my head all day.

Its a really interesting song. The main chorus and title is from a Shevitte tantric.

4. If I understand you, that was my point
No one can tell you what's true for you. Trust your self and listen to your inner voice. Then pay attention to what this poster has listed.

6. Me too.
I have wanted to make the same suggestion. Expecting someone else to do the inner work that belongs to us seems like choosing to live on a diet of scrawny, bland frozen dinners instead of feasting on a rich, wholesome homemade buffet.

5. Here is an amazing thing that happened to me today.
I left work late, went out to my car and my car was out of gas. I got out of the car and realized I was very far away from a gas station. All of a sudden a sense of peace came over me and I thought there is someone near the building who has a gas can and will drive you to get the gas, do not worry. I walked to the building and someone came out who said you are going the wrong way and I said I am out of gas and she said I have a can and I will take you to the gas station and she did. It happened as if there was no break in the flow of my going home, just a slight detour. amazing.

8. Well put, Win
I was playing "devil's advocate" the other day. I was thinking about an event that I posted about last week--when I was writing an article about angels and "Calling All Angels" came on the satellite radio at the coffee shop where I was sitting. To me, that was a positive sign that the angels approved and that I was on the right track with the piece. (I had been worried about it.)

But just for the sake of "seeing the other side", I tried thinking like a skeptic. What would they say about that? I figured they would say it was a coincidence, and that any signs or connections we see in life are constructs of our own brains making links where there are none.

But I've been reading a Patricia Cori book (The Starseed Dialogues), and her channeled entities say that seeing connections is a sign of enlightenment, of an ascending soul. I like that!

Calling something a coincidence (and I don't believe there is any such thing!), actually anything that belittles our connection with the divine, does us a great disservice--it's like a parent telling a child "You know, you really aren't special in the least." Talk about limiting and damning someone to a mundane life!

9. Maybe we need another thread of "signs you are not on the right path"
Edited on Tue Jul-14-09 09:42 AM by Sanity Claws
I'm not trying to be funny. I don't know whether I am on the right path. What you have described is not happening for me. Does that mean that I am doing something wrong? Or does it mean that my timing is off? I've often heard that my timing is not the same as divine timing, or something like that.
Even if one learns she is on the wrong path, how does she find the right path?
These are questions that have plagued me for 2-3 years now. At times, I wonder whether I have made much progress in answering any of them.

10. Do not worry my friend....
Another great sign you are on the right path is first off, you are asking "why" and are interested in these subjects and matters..a real clue you are waking up.
People that are not waking up quite yet are not interested, don't ask "why" and either get upset or angry or poo-poo any topic along the lines of the metaphysical/spiritual.
The right path is simple to find. Look-within your own self, that is the way. Live to where you like yourself as a human being, that is the key.
Second we must keep on asking "why", as you must ask to receive and also strive to pay attention in the "here now" as Spirit is always "Here now"...not someplace down the road.
If your mind is always on the past or the future, you are missing out on the "Here now" of Spirit.
The lessons are never-ending but you will reach a point where you find the right missing piece of your puzzle and it will all fall into place.
Peace to you and yours.

11. Awakening is a journey of a lifetime
You've already begun. Just live your life in the best way you know and stay aware of what's happening to you and around you. Time in the wilderness, feeling frustrated and thinking you're nowhere, is also part of the journey. Today is my 60th birthday, and I could tell you a story of the last 40 years that would convince you that you're perfectly fine exactly where you are now. I've lived my life as an experiment in faith that something more was out there--something that loves me and protects me. I have gone from cowering fear to complete knowledge that there's nothing to fear, no matter what things "out there" look or feel like. That knowledge is not the same as how I feel sometimes, but it lifts my spirits when they need to be lifted. It puts me back onto my mountaintop where I have the better view of what's behind the way things look. Practising the discipline of always looking for the blessing in disguise over time, then measuring your experiences according to what you've learned are things that keep you on the path. Also, keep in mind that there is no place that is not the path.

You would not be here otherwise.
