A teaching story about Earth/mineral spirits

During my journey to here now, I had a lot of wonderful and amazing things happen during my childhood and up until I reached puberty (I was a late bloomer), and then not so much for a while although there were three or four amazing things during that time as well.
Just before and right after Sitting in the Light in 1982 I was having visions and out of body and Lucid Dreaming and flashes of Seeing and Knowing in an amazing number.
This is one that happened shortly before I Sat in the Light.
I had been rock hounding. No, not tearing up the earth for them as I don't believe in that but there was a rock quarry that the state was taking the rocks out of, crushing them up and using them to build roads and they let the Rock hounds come in after each dynamite session and take out the crystals and Geo's.
I had been hauling quite a few home when I had a series of repeat, Lucid Dreams.
All three started out the exact same way.
I found myself facing a rather large group of about a dozen or so Little men.
As soon as I would become Lucid (realizing I am in a dream) I would start looking closely at them and my consciousness would move up very close as they were fascinating.
They all looked a lot alike and reminded me of the seven dwarfs in the Sleeping Beauty book I had read as a child, in that they were all small little dudes and dressed exactly alike.
At first I thought their little brown, long sleeved shirts and sort of baggy pants were made of darkly tanned leather but when my consciousness moved up close, I saw that the material was actually some sort of dark brown tanned leaves.
They were very cunningly made as if a tailor had made them, cut right smartly to fit and stitched with the most amazingly tiny stitches.
I could still see the veins of the leaves and the material was very durable and soft as I got to touch the sleeve of one little dude.
Their boots were of a darker, tougher looking material but I never did make out what it was.
Their hair, while different in the amount of tangles, placement of braids and stuff poked into it was all the same.
Their hair all looked like big tufts of white cotton candy, sort of curly but very fluffy. Their beards and mustaches were so long, some of them had them tucked into their shirts so they could walk without tripping on them or braided and pinned up. There were braids and dreadlocks and the occasional rat's nest and or bird's nest and leaves and/or bright colored feathers stuck in here and there. Some braids looked like they had started to braid them and then just forgot to finish them.
It also made me think that if they ran across something they liked, into the hair it went.
All their eyebrows where huge fluffy white cotton candy looking tufts that stood out every which way and their skin was tanned and leathery and wrinkled as well.
They were usually standing in a sort of line but some were seated on various crystals and rocks that were scattered around them.
And they were sooooooo grumpy! :S Not just to me but to each other as well.
Even though they always started out nice enough (I could tell they were usually grumpy by nature and that it was hard for them to try to smile) they would soon get very angry, stomping around and waving their arms around and mouthing something at me..but I couldn't hear them at all and they would suddenly all just vanish and I would wake up.
The third and last night, they were at the "getting pissed off and stomping around part" when the one that appeared to be the leader suddenly reached down and picked up a huge quartz crystal that was laying at his feet and shook it at me...and then pointed to the crystal and then himself and the others.
I suddenly "got it" and realized they were only trying to tell me I had been dragging them home and they were the spirits of the Mineral Kingdom/Tribe.
The second I realized this, they seemed suddenly very relieved and satisfied and once again they all just left and I woke up.
I have not seen them since but I know they are here.
I try to take good care of the crystals, rocks and Geo's in my gardens and treat them with respect.
I think they are happy to be here instead of being blown up and crushed to be gravel on a logging road.
I believe also that since a plant deva showed itself to me once after I helped the plant, that these were Mineral Spirits showing themselves because I had helped them by bringing them home.
I try to take good care of the crystals, rocks and Geo's in my gardens and treat them with respect.
As most of you already probably know, the reason we psychics love crystals are the same reasons that scientists like crystals. We know they conduct and store energy, including mental energy/thought forms.

Your description of the Earth/mineral spirits made me think of this video that Metta posted a few weeks ago. (These people seem to have a deep connection to the Earth and its spirits.)
