My partner just drew my attention to something that I've been feeling for awhile but couldn't articulate....maybe still can't! But....I'm just at a point where I feel my life needs to change, but not sure where it needs to go, or where I WANT it to go. I'm in the job that fits my education and training, some would say the ideal job, but I feel no fire or passion for it, though Im very good at it and am frequently recognized for being good at it. I might mention that I have this job as acdirect result of my partner having HIS job, a job he hates. One of us leaving would mean both of us leaving, which would be fine....it's just that I think he wants ME to be the leader this time, since he was the leader getting us HERE.

I thought maybe something would shake loose in my head after the eclipse this week... But so far nothing! Any ideas? Exercises? Should I just sit still and wait for a signal strong enough for me to recognize?

as you sift through various threads below, you'll find that *many* of us are sitting here waiting for....what?!? And getting very frustrated and stressed in the waiting and wondering...

I wish I could offer some suggestions. I was hoping the solar eclipse would do it. I was hoping the lunar eclipse before would do it. I was hoping the big chiron/neptune/whosis conjunction in aquarius would do it. I was hoping meditation and recapitulation and last minute healing of old wounds would do it.

Nothing has budged much for me just yet. And many others of us seem to be in similar stuck places. Drifting in the Bermuda Triangle, waiting for a good, stiff breeze in some direction!

Sorry to report, BamBam, that it seems we're all still stuck in the doldrums waiting for a breeze to lift our sails. And, like NorthernLights, I thought the lunar eclipse would help (nope--that just made me emotional), the solar eclipse would help (made me happier, but no movement)...maybe the next eclipse? When is that--August 6? Will things break loose then? Hey astrologers!!!! Will it?

Anyway, I do hope something "breaks" for you soon. I know how it feels when you get the idea that you should be making SOME sort of change but don't know what exactly it is yet. :hug:

4. I wonder what do you have a passion for?

Some times it's the least of your skills that you enjoy that will lead you to what you want. I won't go into my long blah-blah-blah story. But I think manifesting from the un-manifested requires some ideas, the clearer the better, of having the Universe return what you desire. So I suggest don't think too hard but do think about what you like doing, even the minor ones you like a lot, send those thoughts into the realm. Your guides are listening but take their cue from you. I know it will happen for you :hug:

5. I'm in the boat with you all. I just read Karen Bishop's latest

"Wings" posting, and she describes this period as similar to the birthing process, which certainly makes sense to me. So...I guess we'll be in labor for a bit more time. Breathe deep and go with the flow.

6. Why would you both have to leave?

That aside, here are some random thoughts for you:

(This one I can post because we're on this forum) Might there be a karmic reason for this stuck place you're in? Not that I expect you to figure it out precisely, but I actually spend a fair amount of time thinking about my life situation in those terms, that there must be a reason, I'm supposed to learn something from what's happening, and try to accommodate that. Doesn't mean you shouldn't change a bad situation, however.

Anther thought that comes to mind is are you possibly just not recognizing that you really do have a good job that you ought to stay in and appreciate? Sometimes we are just dissatisfied when we really shouldn't be, although dissatisfaction like that can be a truly great motivator.

The sad truth seems to be that almost no one has a job they love, uses their talents effectively, gives reasonable recognition, and pays well. My experience has been that you're lucky if it's tolerable and pays adequately.

7. If and when we leave

It would probably be because we're relocating. We're in higher Ed., he was hired to teach but then he was bumped up to administration, leaving a need for another teacher, which is me (we have the same training and background). Yes, we are both learning a LOT, and know it....but both the school and the town have given us a lotof unnecessary frustrations !
