Something I've been wanting to get off my chest...
Hey guys,

I've been hanging around these boards for almost five years now. I'm remember joining after the 04 presidential election and joining the discussions with the election reform advocates and signing their petitions for reform and all.

At times when I was feeling down, I would view this astrology forum on occasion. It will help lift my spirits up at times. I appreciate the compassion of many of the folks who hang around here.

A few things that stick out are discussions in this forum regarding different astrologers and their predictions about Bush, the economy, the war, and such. I know we all have different intuitions and feelings about things. Some of them bad, some good. Some come true while others don't. Certain psychics and astrologers will see one thing that another one doesn't. That's all understandable. Some folks try to see what they wish to see, while others just sit back and let things fall into place.

I can remember a few predictions some folks had about certain political-related items at the time. I remember this girl with the user name FreedomAngel82. She got banned for something she posted in one of the other forums, apparently. She said after the 04 election, she got this flash that Bush would go down and she felt really certain about it. She even said for some reason she couldn't sense anything on him being president past summer of 06. She even said once that when she was meditating, she saw herself in the future (2009 to be exact) and she was talking with her friend and they confirmed that she was right in her feelings that Bush would not see out his full term. She said she saw images of Nixon resigning that gave her an idea of how Bush would leave. Yet that did not happen. Now as I said above, our predictions and feelings aren't always right all the time, but there were so many other folks and intuitive DUers who were seeing and feeling the same thing she saw and yet it never happened. I'm just puzzled as to how so many could be wrong all at once. Those familiar with the posts of DUer autorank (or Michael Collins from Election Fraud News) probably remember a post of his back in 2005 where he, with chilling accuracy, predicted the indictments of Tom DeLay and Scooter Libby. He then predicted that after Libby's indictment (he said it would be a Cheney White House aide at the time), he said it would directly lead into the White House and reveal some stuff about Halliburton that would force Cheney to resign. He then went on to say the secret government (or "management" as he calls it) would make Bush appoint a "consensus" VP and then Andy Card would tell Bush it was time to go and that Bush would resign under the guise of an illness allowing the consensus VP to take over the presidency. After DeLay's indictment, I thought it looked like it his little scenario was materializing. Then I was almost certain it was materializing after Libby's indictment. Then I waited, waited, waited, until 08 and I'm like "When's Cheney going to resign?" and then poof, Jan. 20, 2009 comes and nothing, nada. BushCo just leaves on the scheduled date. That REALLY has me puzzled. How could he have only been half right? That doesn't make any sense. Afterwards, I jokingly said to him, "What if Conyers really did hold the impeachment hearings he promised after the November 08 elections and that experiment with the atom smasher in October opened up an alternate universe where things played out differently? Ha!" But now it has me wondering. His first two predictions were so disturbingly accurate, it's almost as if he looked into the future himself. Was FreedomAngel82 picking up vibes from this parralel universe where Bush and Cheney did resign?

Ok, perhaps I'm getting a little deep here with talk of spirituality, the universe, different dimensions, etc. But in the end I don't believe anybody can truly, accurately predict the future. Maybe those prophecies of Bush not finishing a full term could be applied in that he was in office, but he wasn't there in his head. Like he was still president, but he lost interest in doing his job and had other folks doing his dirty work for him. I can kind of see that and I'm sure some of you can see it too.

But if there actually is a parralel universe where the things those two said did actually happen, I want to how to get into it! :)

1. Thoughts on predictions and prophecy
Edited on Mon Jul-27-09 12:53 AM by MagickMuffin
Let's consider a person on a tall building and he can see in all four directions the streets below him. The man observes two cars traveling at high speeds approaching the intersection at right angles to each other. Each driver is unaware of the danger that threatens, but the man above can predict with a fair degree of accuracy that there will be an accident. He is in possession of information not available to the other drivers. Therefore his prediction, while calculated judgment for him, is prophetic for the drivers.

This is the way all prophecy works. The more information you have, the more accurate will be your prediction. As you get higher above the event itself-not in altitude but in awareness of probable influences-more and more factors will disclose themselves. Thus a person imbued with Psychic Energy who has raised their Consciousness to, let say the third level will be able to foretell most events two or three years in advance, and some events even further into the future.

In order to clear up an important point let's go back to the person on the building who predicted an accident. There is always the possibility that caution may strike one of the drivers and lead him to put on the brakes as he nears the intersection. This, of course will prevent the accident and render false the prediction of the person on the building. This can happen to any prophecy. Human decision may change the course of any event. Remember this. Many prophecies come true. Many others offered in good faith do not. Human decision is the unpredictable factor.

Let's also remember Jean Dixon predicted JFK's assassination back in 1956. She predicted that a Democrat would win the 1960 election. "He will be assassinated or die in office but not necessarily his first term." Jean Dixon

All of the above information is in a book I'm currently reading "Psychic Energy" by Joseph J. Weed. He details how Psychic Energy works and gives experiments to help oneself master these powers that each and everyone of us possess. We just have never been allowed to develop them. I'm already seeing some progress working with the experiments he has given us.

2. Free will is the kicker.
We are co-creators, deciding moment-to-moment upon every possible outcome. Foresight can allow for course-alteration, so work on insight and perspective...

Also, they still kill angels around these hyar parts, so is there any doubt why the non-linear have kept basically silent for so long?

3. There are many potential futures.
While I believe some are more likely than others, human free will more than anything else determines which will come to pass and which will not. I see potential futures morph and change every day. It's interesting you mention FreedomAngel82 when bringing this up--she and I both felt Bush would not finish he second term. I'm still kinda surprised he is, uh, with us yet.

4. It's also possible that
people predict what they want to happen.

On this very forum there were strong supporters of a certain political candidate for President a couple of years ago and kept on predicting that person would win the presidency even as it became quite certain it wouldn't happen. I honestly think their support of that candidate got in the way of any ability to see the future.

I also recall any number of people predicting that Bush would not complete his terms, and not all of the predictors were claiming a psychic ability, but some were simply predicting that on the basis of their knowledge and understanding of the world of politics.
