Anyone else feeling "scattered" or "overwhelmed"...?

I am up against so many little and big "deadlines" I am almost paralysed...

edit another
do cleanup on both sites in the code/details
gather a list of links and resume for my sister's church who wants a website
hurry up on a "spec" site and proposal for a big acct with local indie news
school project #1 - Speech class- outline and powerpoint presentation of medicine wheel, what it is, how to build one and why
school project #2 - plan sitemap and concept design for website (using the spec for the newspaper to do this)
and kids home from school for summer and wanting to be fed and entertained
and laundry for days because I have other things to do

what is going ON!?

I am chasing my tail and I can't seem to make any headway either which is really making it worse. I need a few days of focus and silence and getting really into it, then I can plow through ...

I wish my mom would take the kids for a couple days even...!

Is it part of the transit before the next eclipse - next week?

or is it this crazy freakin' summer?

1. Totally, my sistah

I've been feeling really, REALLY fritzy for months. I had put it down to all my crazy assignments (I hear you on the deadlines!), plus the insanity/chaos/nerve-shredding NOISE of all the contractors swarming all over the inside and outside of my house--really puts you out of your peace, I can tell you!

But I also think it's the energy this summer. The eclipses and all the other astrological flotsam and jetsam is making a hash of me and, judging by so many posts here, others! So we can include you in the nervous wreck club, eh? ;)

I keep expecting each eclipse to make a difference, but although it CHANGES the energy, it doesn't lighten it one whit! x(

So I hang my hopes on each eclipse and get kind of disappointed after they pass, because I always expect an eclipse to clear up everything, and it doesn't! (My fault for unreasonable expectations, not the fault of the eclipses, of course!) Trying not to do the same thing with the one on 8/6...!

Hang in there, FL. It is indeed a crazy freakin' summer and all we can do is hang on tight and ride it out! :hug:

On Edit: Do ask your mom for help if that's feasible. I hate that feeling of being so overwhelmed you can't imagine things letting up or getting anywhere. Hamster wheel time.

It's a blessing to have a flexible job (though there are always deadlines) to do from home when we have kids, but it's uber stressful, too, because you can't "call off" and you surely can't "call off" from being mom for the day.

3. For the overwhelmed.....

I just received this via email from DailyOm. It is a Virgo horoscope but feels applicable to when any of us feel overwhelmed. Granted, it has a positive slant, talking about "unlimited possibilities" when we often feel "neverending responsibilities and tasks"... ;)

I crawled back in bed for a nap this afternoon, feeling really run down and body crud that is always prevalent when hormones run high, but also when I am feeling overwhelmed, I tend to shut down and crawl under covers...

...wonder if that is a positive strategy or not? lol

I keep seeing the world (and my little world) get crazier & crazier.

It seems like a top that has spun sooo fast that it is going all out of kilter & spinning out of control. That's exactly how I feel now, & seems every day the insanity increases!
