The Coming Revolutions of 2010

You say you want a revolution? Well, we have a few coming next summer; and I do mean big-time. The planets are
going to center around the “cardinal degrees.” Those are 0° Aries, 0° Cancer, 0° Libra, and 0° Capricorn. These 4
signs have to do with “generating” or “starting things.” You can feel it growing now – from inside of us. This
traveling Tsquare to Pluto will grow and flex all summer and will look like this diagram on August 1, 2010.

This formation is extremely rare and is quite auspicious. Since 3 of the major outer 4 planets are involved, Pluto
in its epic new home of Capricorn, exciting Jupiter and Uranus in NEW ZODIACS at early Aries and Mars getting
involved too with Saturn in early Libra!.... Well, it’s impossible to predict but certainly we’re going to see
revolutions taking place all over the globe, not just here. Coming at a time with Pluto approaching its return in
the USA’s chart in 2022, you can feel this HUGE SHIFT coming. America has awoken from its Cancerian lethargy. The
Crab is crawling out from under the rocks. The Crab has learned that it really wasn’t “safe” under there as it
thought. Look what happened while it was hiding.

The revolutions will most likely be “good” and “bad.” So many people are obsessed with those two words although I
believe neither exist. All it all, it will be very good, the start of something big and brand new. These
major, major, major energies will inspire us to action. Cardinal planets impel us to create new paths and pioneer our
way into the future with
new movements and new daring ideas. This will not be the time to retreat or look for “old ways” to re-emerge to
save us. It’s not going to happen. Mighty Mouse is long gone.

This new future is for the bold and progressive. You’ll be hearing much more about it next year. A critical
precursor to all of this will be May 27, 2009 when Uranus leaves the old zodiac behind and enters Aries. Woohoo!

Uranus opposite Chiron

For 37 years, from approximately 1952 through 1989 Uranus traveled in opposition to the “new” Plutoid/Asteroid
Chiron (discovered in 1977.) That means that people living who are now 20 through 57 years of age have this Chiron
opposition to Uranus in their charts. It’s very common and says a lot for the collective. We “get” things quickly.
This aspect is not an easy one to translate mainly because we’re still discovering more and more about Chiron, the
“wounded healer,” every day. Combining with Uranus, the inventor, it’s no wonder so many people of our generation
are so interested in alternative (Uranus) forms of healing (Chiron.) And we’re good at it too. Healing can take
many forms.

Because of the irregular orbit of Uranus and wildly eccentric path that Chiron takes, is why they traveled
opposite to each other for so long. Chiron spends as little as 2 years in some signs while spending as many as
years in others. Uranus spends about 7 years in each sign.
Thank God (Who else?) for all these new ways of understanding the body-electric and the dawning of energy healing.
--- It’s also why people think we’re nuts.

It's also what made us think the Age of Aquarius was upon us prematurely.

Obama's Health Reform

I was just about to talk about the Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron conjunction that’s been with us all summer. Then I
saw a comment by President Obama. I saw this article on 7/23/09: “The President tried to convince the American
public on 7/22 that: "the stars are aligned" for passage of such a massive overhaul, in the works for 50 years.
AND 50 years ago exactly Chiron was at 26 Aquarius which is exactly where Jupiter,
Neptune, and Chiron are now. Even more, the President spoke one day after Jupiter was slammed into by a comet.
Emphasis.

Actually, they’re planets, not stars. But it is happening.

Jupiter is optimism, Neptune is spiritually inspired and Chiron is the healer.
Not hard to figure out.

Keeping with the theme of this conjunction. It’s still going on and is it major! Many people have told me
that they can feel it and many others have said, “I can’t feel anything.” They’re waiting to win the lottery or
get a promotion – the wrong places to look.
Well then, what does this conjunction signify? Some people are revisiting their spiritual life. Others are just being introduced. Some are resolving old issues. Neptune, the main planet here, along with Chiron, the healer, is being given an oomph from cheerleader Jupiter now. Many are very inspired this summer. It is mainly changing the collective mind (in the sign of Aquarius) so that we all can start to feel a little less nationalistic and less individualistic and more holistic or global. Like we’re the one big family that we really are called earthlings.

If you are not feeling it, it is certainly not because of a lack of this stellium’s (3 planets) power, it’s most like due to a weak link to the collective itself. That’s where the work needs to be done. This trio of planets is here to lift us up to the heavens. It’s that simple.

Do you see how intimate these planets are? They are not forces “out there.”

The three are almost exactly together once again right now and will stay close through August 2009. I know when I talk about the "evolving collective mind in Aquarius" how it's hard to fathom. Our “normal” life isn’t over “here” while our “spiritual life” is over there. It’s not a matter of keeping perfect attendance at church.

It’s all one thing. The waiting is over. We are coming together quickly.

See How Significant Saturn Returns Are?

Saturn is back where it was in 1979 during the nuclear accident at Three Mile Island and now we’re giving much
attention to building reactors again. Also, notice how Walter Cronkite died when Saturn was back at the same
degree as it was when he stepped down from the CBS anchor position – 28 years ago.

~~~ Amazing Aquarius ~~~
Now that I’m well into writing my new book (with wonderful assistance from Cheryl Crise,) I’ve had the opportunity
to examine the 12 signs of the zodiac under a powerful new lens. And doing so, I’ve come to a new appreciation of
the sign of Aquarius. It’s probably the zodiac’s most misunderstood sign as well as the most taken for granted.
Aquarius, the Water-Bearer, is way ahead of its time. Symbolic of the zodiac’s most powerful intellect, Aquarius
is constantly considering the ramifications of any two ideas and how it affects all of us. This is why they lead
the pack when it comes to realizing the consequences of all of our actions. If we would just listen to them:
Abraham Lincoln, FDR, Eckhart Tolle…
The 11th sign of the zodiac truly is a friend to all. They accept you for who you truly are and they really
understand what that word ‘friend’ means. So many times it’s volleyed about without true appreciation. How many
true friends do you have - constant, true friends? They’re hard to come by. Aquarians are loyal and they care
about the planet. All of us, one big family.
Think of the Aquarians you know. Stop a second and appreciate how steady and unconditional they are.
Burned Out
Mars will lie to you. I’m always carving into my student’s foreheads, “Keep an eye on Mars!”
Just kidding, of course, but not when it comes to this aggressive red planet. Mars agitates and makes things
happen. New and old students alike must always be aware of its zodiacal position. It wants action and it wants it
now.
Many times when Mars is lined up with your chart’s significant points, “it” pumps extra adrenalin throughout your
body. Really. When I raised my son, I was always aware of small fevers he got when Mars was stimulating his chart.
The fevers passed – which is good to know when you’re a new parent. He survived.
It is also quite common that when this dynamic orb is active that you’ll expend too much energy. For “no known
reason” you’ll just keep working and working and working and you don’t get tired! I know better. I’ve been burned
too many times by this Martian. In fact what does happen is that it does give you extra energy. But that’s not the
problem. It was only on loan. The problem is after it departs it often leaves you flat – burned out.
Therefore, the advice I have for you when Mars lines up with your planets is to stop a bit short. Don’t burn the
candle at both ends or he will make you pay because he lies.
A Single White Crow
I recently read a person’s chart and I kept seeing a theme: that she should start accepting help from around her.
She should look “up” and see that help was available. I asked her if she had been seeing an unusual number of
crows lately. She replied, “Yes!”, shocked. She had been seeing flocks of them around AND she saw a white one. I
asked her how she knew it was a crow and she said that she’d gotten a real good look at it. She mentioned that her
“totem animal” was the hawk. When she saw the white crow, it was surrounded by hawks!
She asked me now I knew about the crows. I told her that I had heard that crows will join together during in the
day to kill owls. Since owls see so well at night, crows and their young are vulnerable to them in the dark. I
learned that seeing a large number of crows or a special one is spirit’s way of telling you look to around you -
you have more help than you think. You don’t have to do it all alone.
You Just Can’t Tell Ahead of Time
I know that many of you think an astrologer might be able to tell this and that. It is very difficult to figure
out just what an astrologer can and cannot see in a birth chart. The confusing part of it is that a birth chart
represents potential. Analogies are necessary. If your chart shows one part oak tree and 2 parts elm, then that’s
what you’ll be. You won’t be a walnut. BUT, we can’t tell ahead of time as to whether your trees will be watered;
whether your surrounding were conducive to growth or not; nor how much sunlight and nutrients you received. Some
trees grow crooked while others grow nice and straight. Sounds like Chauncy Gardner, eh?
Michael Jackson, 8/29/58-6/25/09. Astrologically, this is what happened. His progressed Moon was on his
nadir. His progressed Mars was squaring his natal Pluto (walking on thin ice.) His 12th harmonic chart (life
purpose) had transiting Jupiter, Neptune & Chiron sitting on his nadir (a symbol that it was time to leave.) His
solar return has a large T-square to Pluto (death) and Neptune was squaring his ascendant. His Moon in Pisces was
simply too sensitive for this world – especially if you see the austere citadel that is his father’s chart. It was
simply time to go.
Peter Thomas – TV Narrator – 6/28/24 no time, Pensacola, FL. He is a well-known TV narrator for shows such
as Nova and lately, The Forensic Files. His incredibly sensitive and powerful voice mystifies me and caused me to
look deeper into his planetary alignments. His Cancer Sun with Venus and Pluto (exact) closely inconjunct his
Jupiter in Sag (enthusiasm.) His precise exalted Saturn opposes Chiron giving him the ability to perform autopsies
with just his voice. There’s no one like him.
John Belushi – Comedian/actor – 1/25/49-3/25/82. Dead at the young age of 33, Belushi had one wild chart.
Aquarian by nature, he had a prominent Moon in Sag opposite Uranus IN GEMINI across the ascendant. You need not
hear any more than that. One crazy guy. The SNL favorite also had Venus and Jupiter rising and square to Neptoon;
and Pluto opposite his Mercury/Mars conjunction... ahem. It won’t surprise you to find that transiting Neptoon was
going right over his Moon in the 12th house AND Pluto was sitting on his midheaven when died from drugs.
1. Mmm hmm. The recent "election" and subsequent protests in Iran felt like a bubble
which has not yet burst, which will not be going away. May you live in interesting times!
Thanks for posting, these are always very interesting (although I strongly disagree with the bit about crows being anything positive whatsoever).
the person who told me the story inferred that the white crow was a glorious sign.
Heck, I'm just an astrologer, what do I know? :shrug:
22. Traditionally, a dove is the symbol of peace, etc.
A black dove would be a bad thing. A white crow, is still a crow...
Check crow energy sometime. Give yourself room to flee. And I do respect your work and referrals regarding astrology, of which I know next to absolutely zero, so thank you! No disrespect is intended.
2. Does this:
His 12th harmonic chart (life purpose) had transiting Jupiter, Neptune & Chiron sitting on his nadir (a symbol that it was time to leave.)
mean that you can tell, approximately, when we're going to cross over?
3. No
it's not that easy. Usually it's combination of many factors as death is perceived differently by everyone.
If I could see it, I'd never mention it beforehand.
Some people have Uranus hitting them: Liberation!
it's odd when you study that passage.
13. I once had a
relocational astrologer suggest a place for me to move because Venus was going to be on my Nadir at that location.
Thanks for what you're sharing Rick ... piece by piece I'm learning ... a lot.
It's of, um, personal significance to me at this time.
7. Yes, Rick I am curious also with the other factors
The day they took him to the hospital, my intuition said the company owning his ranch now killed him. In that I do not mean literally - but the pressure.
Granted that, it was perhaps agreed by the players before re-incarnation in that his death brought out so much love energy around the globe, it was perhaps meant to be.
I see MJ as a child-like sensitive being struggling to balance the old 3 D energies with his own higher dimensional energies (artistic)
9. The nadir is a dangerous place
Edited on Fri Jul-31-09 11:42 AM by ricochetastroman
it doesn't mean you're gonna die, but usually something does. For instance, as Saturn travels thru houses I-III; during those 6-8 years, if the personality hasn't learned from the previous 28-yr-cycle and rebuilt, something dies. It can signify deep depression, even the death of a loved one.
When Saturn hit the bottom of my chart in H.S. I started getting scholarships and awards, etc. The Nadir is also symbolic of new beginnings. It's the "end of the matter" in many cases, and in other a new start. The DAY Saturn hit my ex-wife's chart nadir, she asked for a divorce.
The nadir is so critical as it mirrors your deep past, even previous lifetimes, your home, mom, property, family tradtions, etc.
It is your roots.
When the progressed Moon, which is really "secondary progression" (each DAY after birth represents 1 YEAR of life) returns to the nadir every 28 years, it can be climactic. It's 28-yr path strangely mirrors Saturn's. This is also why a pattern of 28 mos is significant; the prog. Moon changes signs every 28 mos.
The progressed Moon is possibly one of the most important prog. to track since the others move so slowly. Yours is at 12 Aquarius now.
With an "unstable" personality like MJ, it can represent death. Mostly because he DIDN'T REBUILD because he couldn't, he didn't have the tools or spirit OR WILL to do so. That's what causes death, "WILL". He was outa gas even tho his legs were dancing.
If it doesn't bring death, it will bring death of something. Usually it's one's old tired ROLE they play in the family. When any traniting nears the IC or Nadir, look out, things bubble up. I feel it's the most important part of any chart because it is your very foundation. MJ left because he could no longer protect his extremely sensitive Moon in Pisces against his extremly cruel father which manifested as the world itself. My 2 cents.
10. I've been working on it for 31 years.
I didn't know it at the time. It's about what makes each SIGN tick. NOT SUN SIGNS but each sign. Why the Twins are as they are, why Leo is different from Cancer, why Sag drives Capr nuts.
How the 12 signs evolve seamlessly from each other. It maps out 9 criteria of why each sign is different from each other. I can't say much more about it now but what I am really trying to do is NOT describe each sign; that has be done 1'000s of times. Buy why?
Then you can see connections. Also, I will say, a major goal is to show everyone why people do what they do why they do what they do.
They can't do anything else and that often gives them a misunderstood "bad" label.
It's about 1/2 way now but we keep discovering new major themes to each sign as we dig (Cheryl and I). I really hope it's a winner.
Thanks for asking.
11. Yours is ALWAYS WATCH MARS
Especially when it's a degree away (from your MC or Midheaven now)
MARS IS IMPATIENT with you (you are impatient inside), you want to ACT, you are tired of planning, resisting, promising, thinking. Your Mars and it is your Mars wants action results as it nears your mc.
Your chart is very action-oriented EXCEPT it tends to get suppressed from that all powerful natal Saturn sitting at the bottom of your chart at your Nadir. That is MOM or DADs critical voice at the bottom, on your shoulder, cautioning you from Saturn in Sag Rx. Probably due to their paranoid RULES (Saturn) or religious beliefs (Sag)
If I had you in my office, that's where I'd start anyway. Anyhow, you are ready to FIGHT back now except you're not quite ready to FIGHT back. THAT is you "meltdown", it is a "push myself down once again."
Think it over, I'm often wrong, but if so, it's related to that.
Pain is almost always (in my practice) due to the fact that we're just about to let go but we don't. It is not our nature to hold on but is our habit.
You've HAD IT WITH EVERYONE, (Mars on MC and square ascendent/descendant). You need to make some noise but your kind Moon in Libra doesn't like to make "waves" because it's "unpleasant." So, you compromise. That's your enemy: compromise.
I think you're going to be a different person by end of August, people around you had better get used to it - you're not going to compromise anymore.
Congratulations :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause: :applause:
Not wrong at all!
You've HAD IT WITH EVERYONE - that was definitely one major theme - both business & family
wow! MOM or DADs critical voice
Our continued homeless situation included, I freaked out and started checking into an assisted living home for Mom - major issues here between her and me.(also in 1979 btw)
As I told her that I may need to find any job and just forget about all I have been doing, and her having to go to assisted living (she needs help 24/7) all her drama display aside she said: Oh it would be nice if you can get a job at the assisted living! What a tight grip.
on edit: The past few years, it has been like Hardy HarHar & Lippy the Lion. I am trying to manifest, and she says - oh, it's not going to work, we are going to lose the house..(well, we did..but)
Do I sense freedom?
and I do always swallow because I avoid anything unpleasant - but thinking back, not until in my 20ties.
A publishing company CEO told me once that I am like a lion just like XX (another artist) You cage them, they bite, you let them roam free, they come to be petted.
The last 20 years have been a far cry from that.
I am getting walloped and this planetary flux and eclipse energy was supposed to bring me good, juicy, yumminess...and instead it broke my heart!?
:wtf:
(you can look at the prayer thread for details if necessary)
but let's just say my cappy attitude got the best of me and instead of being compassionate I told the one I care about to grow a spine...oops.
maybe it WAS necessary, but do I always have to end up alone? shesh!
I guess with all the work I have on my plate now it's better I focus on that rather than dating or playing or whatnot...
but i just wanna stomp my foot & say WHY ME? :cry:
(and yet we know that attitude never lasts long, the angst will just make me work harder and drive myself more like a good cappy should!lol)
There is no planet making sure you end up alone, making you feel bad because HE is spineless, and supposed to bring you good or bad.
Ya, I got the "homey don't play that" vibe for sure...
and I am getting better at seeing that, faster at realizing what my dealbreakers are, even if they seem trivial ...
and, uh, the part that wants to overaccomodate is probably the part in me that really likes feeling special and pretty and getting my "strokes" both physically & psychologically...damn libra (primadonna)
....so this one is just a lesson to be learned? Too bad he can't wake up and just decide to show up and see what happens! (could he?)
The reason this guy appealed to me so much was our simlarities in journalism and writing and the desire to collaborate...That was really yummy...and the chemistry is great, and he is so very gentle and tender.
But that damn PAST stuff...why can't some people just LEAVE it there? I suppose as a Cappy I just don't get it!
I guess it affirms that I still "got it" and can go out and seek what I REALLY want...
The universe is conspiring to make something happen, that I know!
26. Is the Eclipse energy a "flip-flop" thing...?
Or is it just my Pisces man trying to figure out where he wants to swim?
He thanked me for being so caring and WISE... well, ya! If you'd just listen to me I DO know what I am talking about! lol
So, ya, we had dinner and an evening together, I was worried that we were going to end up beating a dead horse and instead we talked very openly about the dysfunction and how I had to call time out from the needy-ness because I was allowing myself to be the rescuer to his victim. And that was NOT where we should be building from...besides. I am NOT the type to emotionally 'save' anyone at this point.....
"homey don't play that" lol
on the flipside, there were these little moments where we were talking "shop" ( he said he was learning a new camera skill, and I want him to teach me) I asked him to promise he wouldn't go away before he could teach me ...and it made me cry, cuz I don't want to lose him. He held me and said it's okay and he's not going anywhere...
but I still wonder what next week will hold...AND I can't live in that doubting place. If I want someone to surrender in the moment and have trust that the lessons are ALL worthwhile...then I have to do the same..
thanks rick, and everyone else here for letting me vent - sometimes it helps to put the words to the lessons :)
24. very relevant
to all that's going on right now.
Thank you for sharing with us.
I totally concur about MJ. He was out of steam. From what has come out since his crossing, there wasn't a prayer in the world that he would have made it through a 50-concert schedule.
I read today that he was 105 lbs. Considering he was 5'11 or 6' tall, that is scary-slim.
25. Oh, yeah, and you were right to mention that Mars lies like a dirty pig.
Blech.
27. Interesting newsletter, once again ;=D
As I've stated several times I tend to go with the flow and try not to get bogged down in the details of life. However, I have been struggling to get one of my spare rooms cleaned out of clutter to convert it into my home Sanctum. It will also serve as my room for yoga exercises.
I have made some progress, but there are so many boxes that it can be overwhelming to say the least. I came to the conclusion to let go of some of the stuff and just get rid of it all. That is one of my difficulties as I tend to want to recycle things for future art projects, like shredding papers to make new paper-pulp. I have some interesting molds for my pulp, but I just scored large coffin sized boxes of shredded paper, so I'm considering just burning old bills.
I have decided that I'm ready to start back into my Rosicrucian (AMORC) monographs that have been waiting patiently for decades. I didn't allow myself the opportunity at the time I became a member to remain focused. I still maintained a curiosity for Metaphysical and Mystical practices but they didn't seem to provide me with the tools for really developing the Master Within.
I've even talked with AMORC about my membership and inquired about my dues (which I don't have the funding for) and was told they now have an assistance program. I just mailed off my application this week. Hopefully someone will find my request worthy and help out, which is always a challenge for me because I don't like asking for hand-outs or help.
So, hopefully I'll get my Sanctum ready before my upcoming birthday. That's my goal and I think a worthy one.
Thanks for posting your wonderful newsletter. Of course, I can't wait till next months for obvious reasons :blush:
28. Rick, I could use some insight on my issues
If you would indulge me once again!
I am speaking of my recent knee replacement and family (daughter) issues.
I would rather not go into detail although I can say things seem like they are going to erupt soon (daughter) and not on my part. These involve additional issues she appears to be dealing with.
Personally, I am feeling more empowered and I am ready to get on with my life...including dating once again. Of course I am feeling pretty lousy at the moment, physically, but my outlook is positive.
Can you shed any light on the situation?
I also look forward to buying your new book. I love your writing style and your insights are always helpful.
Thanks again, Rick!
