As I post articles from the military rags, I get more and more depressed.

Gang rape, rape, sexual abuse, spousal abuse, waivers, PTSD, TBI, mysterious deaths, self-inflicted deaths, homelessness, the Veterans Administration, F-22, C-17, F-35, $2,500,000,000 submarines, $5,000,000,000 Littoral Combat Ships, Deepwater, $735,700,000,000, outsourcing, privatized housing (or whatever), recruiting bonuses, etc. etc.

The Department of War will be spending almost three quarter of a trillion dollars in 2009. And it won't be enough.

Admiral Allen is on a propaganda tour pushing for more (you guessed it) dollars to fund replacement Coast Guard ships. Read up on Deepwater for details.

Then the Army will be spending $257,000,000,000 in 2009 - $128,000,000,000 of it will be for funding the occupation.

Meanwhile, the infrastructure in this country is falling apart. So is the economy. The middle class is being wiped out.

FEMA, Education, FDA, EPA, Treasury, Department of Parks, NSA, FBI, CIA, Guantanamo, torture, domestic spying.

It's hard to find a branch of government that is not totally fucked up.

I cannot even speak ***'s name any more, even as a curse, I find him so repulsive, arrogant and destructive. I hope he leaves for Paraguay on the first flight out the next morning.

Want to imagine something funny, think of Chimpy at the swearing-in ceremony. It is customary for the former president and VP to be there. Won't he and Darth be fun to watch? They will be able to reflect on how much they are loved.

It's time we started to look inward to ourselves. The clock is ticking. The consequences of Global Warming will soon be upon us. We need to start now to build the infrastructure of the future. To get our country off fossil fuels and to plan for the day when millions of American's will be displaced from low lying coastal areas. If we continue on our present course we will be leaving our children and grand children sitting penniless in the dark as the flood waters of global warming rise around them.
