COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – President George Bush will speak at the Air Force Academy spring graduation ceremonies on May 28.
Bush, who also spoke at the academy in 2004, will preside over the graduation of roughly 950 cadets readying for their commencement as second lieutenants.
The event will begin at 10 a.m. in the academy’s Falcon Stadium.
His previous speech, given one day after forming an interim Iraqi government, drew parallels to modern-day terrorist ideology and past threats of communism and Nazism.
The academy typically hosts high-profile military or political figures during graduation ceremonies. Last year’s speaker was Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. Previous speakers include: Vice President Dick Cheney, Former President Bill Clinton and Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld.
