15 soldiers injured in Kuwait road accident

KUWAIT CITY — The U.S. military says 15 American soldiers sustained minor injuries in a road accident in Kuwait.

The military says a U.S. military vehicle and two buses collided Saturday on a road north of Kuwait City. A brief statement Monday from the military provides no further details about the accident, which is under investigation by the Army.

The statement says two American soldiers were evacuated to an American military treatment facility and two others to a military air base, both in Kuwait. The others were treated and released.
