Roadside bomb kills 2 soldiers in Iraq

BAGHDAD — The military said Monday that two soldiers have been killed in a roadside bombing north of Baghdad.

A statement said the blast struck the Multi-National Division — North soldiers during operations in the Salahuddin province.

The military said two U.S. soldiers, two U.S.-allied fighters who have turned against al-Qaida in Iraq and a civilian interpreter also were wounded in Monday’s attack.

Identities have not been released pending notification of relatives.
