The first Air Force court-martial in Afghanistan led to an airman being sentenced to two months in jail.

Tech. Sgt. Trent A. Aistrope of the 755th Air Expeditionary Group was accused of stealing $1,500 from a wallet, according to a news release from Bagram Airfield.

At his April 14 court-martial, Aistrope pleaded guilty to a single charge of larceny and a military judge sentenced him to two months’ confinement, demotion to staff sergeant, $2,000 in lost wages and a $1,500 fine.
