WaPo brings us this disturbing news:
The nation's top military officer said yesterday that the Pentagon is planning for "potential military courses of action" as one of several options against Iran, criticizing what he called the Tehran government's "increasingly lethal and malign influence" in Iraq.
Jesus Christ. You know, I'll be honest with you. I thought all the finger-pointing-blame-game bullshit from the Pentagon on Iran was silly, but I never really thought it would lead to another war. I mean, someone in the Administration has basic math skills right? You don't have to go to MIT to be able to count how many Soldiers we've got and how many are already deployed and discern that the scales aren't balanced. You don't have to be an Army War College graduate to see that you must take quite a few liberties to argue that our OPTEMPO is sustainable as it is, without ever factoring a third war into the equation.
But the Pentagon has a master plan to fight Iran over there, so we don't have to fight them over here:
