130 Charleston airmen deploy to war zones

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Military officials say more than 130 airmen have left the Charleston Air Force Base to head to southwest Asia as part of war operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The (Charleston) Post and Courier reports that the 14th Airlift Squadron deployed Monday.

The airmen will fly evacuation missions and transport service members and supplies in and out of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The airmen currently being deployed are replacing the 17th Airlift Squadron, also from the Charleston Air Force Base.

1. Why do you suppose

Bush's own daughters haven't signed up for his "War on Terror"? As we can see, he has no problem deploying women soldiers.

Guess this "War on Terror" thing isn't as important as giving his military-age daughters a "Paris Hilton" lifestyle.
