2 soldiers injured in Iraq helicopter crash

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says one of its helicopters has crashed south of Baghdad, wounding two soldiers.

The statement says preliminary indications point to mechanical failure as the cause of the crash early Sunday, but an investigation will be conducted to determine what happened.

No further details were released.
