Reservists need to check their digital records

The Air Force Reserve wants airmen to check their personnel records.

Air Force Reserve airmen who are Individual Mobilization Augmentees or are in the Participating Individual Ready Reserve category have 90 days to review their electronic personnel records, Air Force Reserve Personnel Center officials announced Thursday.

Paper versions of the field records, called the Unit Personnel Record Group, were scanned into the Air Force’s electronic records and now Reserve airmen should check if the digital records are correct.

“It is the citizen airmen’s responsibility to review their records to ensure they are complete,” Debi Young, Reserve Personnel Center’s’ quality records management director, said in a statement.

Records are available through the Air Force Personnel Center’s secured Web site.
