The Air Force Office of Special Investigations allege an airman and his wife were selling drugs out of their Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D. quarters, according to a release from the airbase.
Shawn H. Starcevic, 22, was arrested Sept. 12. by the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation Narcotics Taskforce on charges of possession and conspiracy to sell marijuana, according to the Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department. According to Air Force Global Address Directory, Starcevic is an airman stationed at Grand Forks.
Yvonne Ayala-Starcevic, 26, was charged with selling and possession of marijuana and also arrested Sept. 12.
The pair was held until Sept. 15 in lieu of $2,500 each, according to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center. As of Sept. 22, they were free on bond.
No word yet to any military punishment, if any, Starcevic could face as a result of his arrest.
