Program brings students to Minot for science

MINOT, N.D. — More than 600 fifth-graders will come to the Minot Air Force Base every year, under a new Starbase program.

Officials plan a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the program at the base’s elementary school.

They say it will bring students to the base for five days each year, for projects involving science and technology.
