Merry Xmas from the VA --Deemed Denied Ruling
This bombshell of a ruling states that when VA acts on one claim but does not address other claims, the other claims are deemed denied. Plus VA does not have to provide veterans with notice of denied claims. The Supreme Court will not hear this case. With that we can only hope Congress can change this ruling.

1. another Fascist BULLSHIT tactic to hide the BLOODY Cost of this war...not only co$t but loss limb an...
lively hood..

this tactic is designed to hide the brain damage and the depression which is its major symptom. the soldiers that suffer brain damage from IED's and other explosions and head trauma are being hidden.

head injuries will be the Gulf War 2 aftermath disease including the first one Depleted Uranium poisoning.. they say it isn't really radioactive.. that isn't the deadly aspect of Uranium.. it is the ingestion by breathing and orally consuming it.. it is a Insidious HEAVY METAL, heavy metal poisoning which causes Cancer/disease/birthdefects..this is what is being covered up. not the radation..that isn't the problem.

4. They bought back the "personality disorder" excuse too....
RETURN OF THE "PD" - PERSONALITY DISORDER -- The "PD" was

wrongly used to discharge thousands of troops during the Vietnam

War. Now, it has returned as an easy way for the military to get rid

troops instead of caring for their mental health needs. A "PD" is

considered non-treatable and non-compensable by the VA.

During Vietnam the use of the "PD" discharge was common. Thousands of veterans still have the label "Personality Disorder, Unspecified" on their discharge papers.

The "PD" was an easy out for the military. They claimed that the soldier brought the "PD" with them and that it had nothing to do with combat stress.

Therefore, a "PD" was considered non-treatable and non-compensable by the VA. It was a pre-existing condition.

Well, the "PD" is back. Again, as easy out for the military. Just give them a label and you don't have to treat them or care for them.

We have two stories. The first is about the "PD" and the second is about a soldier who got labeled with a "PD."

First story here... http://www.statesman.com/news/
content/news/stories/nation/12/24/24personality.html

I'm hoping that Michael Moore's movie "Sicko" (a comedy about 50 million people without healthcare) Will get this debate moving. It comes out next year.

6. That was my next post
By doing this they can deny all PTSD cases from Iraq. Remember the VA is under orders from Dubba to cut cost. Ya Right on the back of Veterans

7. Yeah but
Paris Hilton needs another tax cut. Where would our country be if Paris Hilton didn't have a few more bucks to flush down the toilet or send to an off shore tax haven?

5. The very next time
I hear some conservative twit whine that we liberals don't "support the troops", I just might explode. I recommended, because perhaps if we put some pressure on our newly elected Congress, we can support our veterans with something more substantial than yellow ribbons. Please, K&R, everybody.
