The Air Force has openings for 20 more first-term airmen who would like to retrain into the Airborne Mission Systems (1A3XX) and Airborne Operations (1A4XX) career fields, the Air Force Personnel Center announced Wednesday.

Thirty positions are now available to first-term airmen, and second-term airmen are eligible for openings in the in-flight refueling, flight engineer, airborne mission systems and airborne operations specialties.

All retraining opportunities are listed at http://ask.afpc.randolph.af.mil/. Click on “vMPF Self-Service Applications” and then “request retraining.”

Descriptions of the enlisted aviation career fields and a retraining tutorial are also available on the Career Enlisted Aviator Recruiting and Retention Community of Practice Web site at https://afkm.wpafb.af.mil/cea.

For more information, interested airmen may contact their career assistance advisor or call the AFPC Contact Center at 800-616-3775. The center number will change to 800-525-0102 for all airmen effective Feb. 22.
