RICHMOND, Va. — The Virginia National Guard’s 1710th Transportation Company, 329th Regional Support Group is back in the United States.

The Guard says approximately 180 members of the Richmond-based group returned Sunday after serving in Kuwait and Iraq since last May. The soldiers are at Camp Atterbury in Indiana to transition back to National Guard service before returning to Richmond.

In Iraq, the group was assigned to the 142nd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion from Fort Polk, La.
