PACAF unveils service-inspired Hawaiian shirt

Finally, a new uniform piece upon which everyone can agree.

Pacific Air Forces have introduced an Air Force-themed Hawaiian shirt to commemorate the Air Force’s 60th Anniversary.

“It’s worn for business. It’s worn for pleasure,” said Tim McCullough, the president and chief executive officer of Reyn Spooner, the organization which produced the shirt. “It’s essentially our navy blue blazer or perhaps our three- or four-button suit. It’s essentially the accepted attire for the island experience.”

The shirt was unveiled as part of Air Force Week Honolulu, a 60th anniversary celebration which runs through Sept. 15. The shirt’s design features Air Force aircraft from the P-38 to the F-22 as well as the logos for the Air Force 60th Anniversary and PACAF.
