Children of deployed soldiers offered free summer camps

Hi, everyone!

As some of you know I am the wife of a soldier. If you are the spouse of a soldier and have children, please check with your ACS about free summer camps for children of deployed soldiers.

I first thought it was just for overseas kids but this morning learned that it is also being offered back in the states.

So please check!!! Your children or grandchildren could get a much needed break from the stress of dealing with a deployed parent! and it's FREE! :) ....and what parent having to be both mom and dad couldn't use a break?

The best place to get more info would be from a post ACS. If I can find more info for CONUS military families, I'll post it. But, please, call your local ACS and see if they are participating. It might be well worth the phone call.
