Travis couple, found dead in car, ID’d

VACAVILLE, Calif. — Authorities say they are examining the sport utility vehicle of a married couple stationed at Travis Air Force Base to see if a mechanical malfunction may have led to their deaths

The pair was found dead Friday in a Chevrolet Blazer parked outside their Vacaville apartment complex.

Air Force spokesman Sgt. Matthew McGovern identified the couple as 22-year-old Senior Airman Chad Cheswick of Bandera, Texas, and 23-year-old Senior Airman Jessica Cheswick of Bloomington, Ind.

Police say they have found no signs of trauma or foul play while investigating the deaths. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
