Anyone here read James Morrow? He is a great religious satirist
He's got a new book out that just came out a couple of months ago, I haven't read it yet(I just found out about it today). http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1892391155/ref=dp_bib_1/002-2657868-5340057?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance

His books are very entertaining and have great points about atheism and the absurdity of religions. He provides some great ammunition for atheists to use. "Only Begotten Daughter" is one of my favorites, it's about a virgin man who has a daughter without a mother. "Bible Stories for Adults" is also another great one for people looking to read one of his books, his version of the story of Job is much more truthful than the original.

Has anyone else read Morrow? How about the new book?

1. No, but thanks for the review.
The Bad Amazon Reviewers are ranting about his politics, so he must be pretty good.

Are you new here in the Atheist Ghetto? If so, welcome!

2. Reading one Morrow story goes a long way
I read Bible Stories for Adults and very much enjoyed it. Then I read Towing Jehovah and realized that his stories seemed to all use the same "blasphemy" device to keep them going.

6. I liked Towing Jehovah but it wasn't one of my favorites, the next two in
that series are really good, Blameless in Abadon and The Eternal Footman.
