1. I had to read that thread twice. i was confused...not your fault.
so Alito's ruling was FOR the religous display if it was 'secularized" but the SCOTUS shot it down? is this correct? it's probably obvious in your other thread, I am just being thick today. I will blame it on being monday. :P :hi:

2. It is clear why they call him "Little Scalia."
He's a fucking reactionary right-wing religious lunatic, just like his hero.

3. Can't we put people on SCOTUS that DO NOT believe in fairy tales?
What if the simple-minded fuck believed in the power of Zeus? Would we question his grasp of rational thinking then?

Just once I'd like to hear one of these "believers" answer some simple questions about their delusion.

If the American public heard the answers to questions like "Can donkeys talk?" perhaps they'd snap the hell out of their dazed condition.

4. do you think an atheist would have a chance as a nominee?
I know, stupid of me to even ask. it was a rhetorical question..

5. No.
Not a chance in hell.

I've fantasized about running as an atheist. I know that as soon as that fact emerged, all other points would be abandoned.

I think it would be nearly impossible to run and win as an atheist. And that is a sad admission in this "land of liberty".
