Yeah, even though they're welcome to post and debate here, none of the believers have the stones apparently...

It's an interesting dynamic really, we welcome debate w/ the believers and invite them into our group. The feeling is never mutual. Go figure.

And that's why they don't get flamed too much. The Religion and Theology Forum is a forum and not a group and those posts do go on the main page. If something goes on the main page isn't it open to f all DUers? They do complain a bit that atheist attack thier posts. But by attack of course they mean stand up for ourselves and state our opinions.

I was raised protestant and thrown out at 15 because I refused communion. You know...when you're finally old enough to eat Jesus. I probably wouldn't have minded if they had offered BBQ flavored wafers. And a better wine than Mogen David. Blech.

They could never answer the tough questions. That's what did it for me. They told me that God didn't want us to know everything, and that was their answer to every question I asked.

Religion is the tool by which the greedy and powerful are successful.

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it. :)
