a virgin. A thread that I started on my community message board was just removed. My 1st ever!! It was regarding an extreme R/W xtian on that board and his constant abuse towards my non-belief. It got really nasty by others of his faith who tried to gang-bang me, so to speak. I feel so vindicated. I was called every imaginable name you could come up with. The board administrator came down hard on the xtians and I'm still ROTFL. It's a small victory, but it's a start.

1. Yes, the "persecuted Christians" are handy with the name-calling.

It would be stones if it was face to face. They are very tiresome.

2. Get this...

the same guy came on this morning and posted another 'I'll keep praying for you, Bzzz' and said he refuses to back down. I was also called an alcoholic by another xtian this morning and told if I sobered up I would see the light. The Board Administrator is nowhere to be found. I've e-mailed him twice and no response. I think he's sick of the whole mess, but I also feel that I am being violated.
This really does get frustrating...and there is no end in sight.:mad:

3. Try calling them names, and see how quickly you get deleted

or banned. Use the "alert" button. "I'll keep praying for you" is basically hate speech in this context; while many people mean it in an unthinking, nice way, he means "you are so deluded you face an eternity of punishment because of your unthinking evil. I hope you come round to my point of view".

Now, can you imagine an atheist saying something like that?

5. Unfortunately...

this board does not have an 'alert' button. I haven't responded to him at all and I don't plan to. I would love to come back with both barrels loaded, but it won't change anything. Hopefully the administrator will come around today and give him an ultimatum...play nice or you're gone. If not, I'll leave. Besides, I love DU and need to spend more time here. :D
