Update
The kittens are still here, my boys are still here, I'm still here but it's not a done deal.

I need to find homes for them before I get an inspection or we'll all be living in my car.

In the meantime, my neighbor has her family over for a barbecue and their music is a tad loud. They are all fanatical christians ( I could tell by how she treated me even if she didn't mention it in every conversation she has with people )

I'm currently blasting Puddle of Mudd's "She Fucking Hates Me" on my incredibly powerful stereo speakers.

The Cult is on next.

Any ideas what else I should play ?

Let me know if you have any requests, her family comes over often.

1. Glad to hear that!
I got one you can blast at them, from Mojo Nixon and Jello Biafra:

Peggy Sue, she got pregnant
And was addicted to fifteen drugs
She went down to the abortion clinic
And was accosted by right wing thugs

(Chorus)
Oh will the fetus be aborted
By and by Lord, by and by
There's a better home awaiting
In the sky, Lord, in the sky

Little Mary was just eleven
And she was raped by her own dad
Danny Quayle said, "Have that baby"
But another choice she had

(Chorus)

Annie's pregnancy would kill her
Doctor's warning gave her strife
Fundamentalists said "Jesus take her"
She said, "I want my right to life"

(Chorus)

Kathy had two kids already
And an abortion is what she chose
Christian showed her a bloody fetus
She said "That's fine, I'll have one of those."

(Chorus)

Tanya lived for the revolution
Wanted to overthrow the state
She had fifteen Commie babies
Phylis Schlafly, now ain't that great?

2. My suggestion
Don't piss off the neighbor if you're on the verge of being evicted.

It's more important to take care of yourself (and the kitties) than to annoy her.

3. I agree with lwfern

but for musical suggestions, how about some prog rock? I'm thinking of Spock's Beard. Water. Third track off their album The Light. At least up to the point where they start singing about being sorry.

You gave me this home and then you left me alone
FUCK YOU
You act real nice while you're exacting your price
FUCK YOU

Everyone's got their opinions
They'll tell ya 'bout 'em all the time
What makes 'em think i wanna hear them
I wish that you'd all fucking die, die, DIE!

You don't give a shit about anything
FUCK YOU
I don't know why you even bother to live
FUCK YOU

Everyone's so pathetic
Always talking all the time
What makes them think that
I give half a shit what's on their minds, minds, MINDS!

FUCK YOU

FUCK YOU

FUCK YOU
FUCK YOU
FUCK YOU!

I'm so sorry
I really am so, so sorry
If I ever hurt you or caused you pain
I can't help it
I really, really just can't help it
When the madman's on the rise again

Can you understand what it's like?
You all must understand what it's like
I can't help what happened to me
Sometimes it just comes out now can't you see
Please understand and don't
Don't hate me

I'm so sorry
I really am so, so sorry
If I ever hurt you or caused you pain
If you don't understand it's all the same
I guess I'll just be left alone again...

6. I love the lyrics.
Reminds me of one of my bad days.
Checking for them on Kazaa too.

Another set of psychotic lyrics from a favorite of mine,
Pink Floyd's One of My Turns, from The Wall:

***
Run to the bedroom
In the suitcase on the left
you'll find my favourite axe

Don't look so frightened
This is just a passing phase
One of my bad days
***

5. Ah.
But she has no power over me now, the landlord knows she lied about the strays I feed, so he's pretty pissed with her right now.
I'm guessing he didn't appreciate being played like that.
He's said I can keep my big boys since he knew about them and I paid an extra deposit.

Thanks for thinking of the me and babies though, I fought hard for them and I haven't given up yet.

7. I'm pleased to hear the situation has cleared a bit.
Still thinking of you.

I find The Pixies helpful in that sort of situation.

9. Try this:
When I was a Resident Assistant in college, we came back to the dorm complexes two weeks before the residents. We allowed returning students to come back a few days before check in. We had one returning student break in to another returning student's room on the morning of check-in, when 8,000 students were returning to campus. The prankster, having superglued the fusebox shut, turned the resident's very large speakers toward the windows, turned the volume up all the way, put the Return of the Jedi soundtrack CD in, set the CD to the Ewok song on eternal repeat, pressed pause, locked the door behind him, put super glue in the lock, and used the remote control to press play from the hallway. You could hear that fucking Ewok song all over campus. It was two and a half hours before we could pry the fuse-box open (the door had to be removed from its hinges later that day). The song was so loud you could feel it in your fillings three blocks away. I can still hear it in my head, and it's been over ten years. Fucking sadist.

10. THAT
was genius ! I wonder how long it took them to cook that one up.
Makes you hope that they are using their powers for good and not evil.

11. Just to throw them off course...
try a little George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord".

I used to love to see the expressions of young fundies at college when they realized that the beautiful song he was singing was about the WRONG god! Ouch!

That said, I agree with the above comments, that you may want to keep the retaliation to a minimum. Don't want to give them to much ammo to use against you in the near future.

13. Thanks
They turned theirs down after the Cult tune.
She's going to be awfully worried about living next to someone she tried to have evicted.
I won't do anything to get in trouble, but I can make her squirm.

14. I forgot to mention "The Man Next Door" by Massive Attack
Not a crashy track, but strong bass, it carries, and the lyrics are appropriate.

I personally have been listening to Johnny Cash solidly since Friday. Suitably apocalyptic.

12. Thanks for the update
I'm glad things are improving.

Glad your landlord caught on to your neighbor's lies! Ya' got to watch those fanatical c'tians 'cause they're space cadets by definition.

Remember you got lots' of buddies here. :grouphug:
