The BMUS rage-o-meter/appreciation thread.

I appreciate that there have been a few appreciation threads lately, but that means one devoted to Beam Me Up Scottie, a woman untiring in her efforts to bring reason to DU, is needed more than ever.

Salvor said on another thread that we need a BMUS reage-o-meter. I have created one:

BMUS3:

Beamy in conversational mood in one of the quieter, more reasonable forums - A&A, UKDU, Sceptics.



BMUS 2:

The questioning BMUS. Most of the time she will be trying to establish "why are you so stupid?".



Finally, there's angry BMUS, BMUS 1. Do not mess with angry BMUS.

I have the same problem with sarcasm and mean-spiritedness. Though as time goes on, I'm not at all sure it's a problem. I'm starting to think that humoring the Woo-Woos and Twue Bewievers is the wrong approach.

That's why I'm always so glad to see our good cop BMUS patrolling the dark alleys of DU with her Rhetorical Nightstick, ready to try and knock sense into some blathering kook.

BMUS is back minus over two years worth of pictures, music, correspondence and memories.

I've done my mourning and my anger is gone and it's not like I haven't been through this before, except on previous occasions what I lost was measured on a much larger scale.

And just a little south of me, people are losing so much more.
Kind of puts it all into perspective, you know?

But I certainly appreciate BMUS taking the challenge and putting these whining blowhards in thier rightful place. Glad someones been able to do the dirty work. I also appreciate that she hasn't been overly censored in doing so, as thats basicly what drove me from DU for a good period of time.
