I have a few DU Kerry supporters friended on facebook, but I know there are lots of people here whose name I don't know in RL. Also, for those of you out of college, there are lots of work networks that are open to facebook now too, so if your company has a facebook network, you can join as well.

ANYWAY: If you are on facebook please join the JOHN F. KERRY FOR PRESIDENT 2008 facebook group!

You can find it if you do a search in the facebook menu. It's a new global group so anyone from any college or work network can join. If you can't find it that way, pm me and I can send you a facebook invite. I know a lot of you are nervous about your actual identities which is why I am not posting the actual link here, but if you're interested, I can pm you the link, or send you a facebook invite. I have met several people in this group and they can reassure you that I'm a real live college student, not a creepy 50 year old man with a webcam. :silly:

So anyway if you are on facebook please join today. The group is new and thus lags seriously behind in membership compared to lots of other facebook groups, and we need to dispel the myth that young people aren't interested in JK. Once you join send an invite to all your Dem/Kerry fan friends!

I don't know if I'll join facebook anytime soon, but I think this is VERY IMPORTANT and I'm so glad to hear that group exists. I think it will do a lot of good in terms of showing young people's support for JK and, as you say, that is essential.

If I ever do join facebook, it will be the first group I look for!
