I saw where someone mentioned this rant by Olbermann on MSNBC. Here is a link to the video and a transcript. It is very good. Here is a snippet...

"When those who dissent are told time and time again -- as we will be, if not tonight by the President, then tomorrow by his portable public chorus -- that he is preserving our freedom, but that if we use any of it, we are somehow un-American...When we are scolded, that if we merely question, we have "forgotten the lessons of 9/11"... look into this empty space behind me and the bi-partisanship upon which this administration also did not build, and tell me:

Who has left this hole in the ground? We have not forgotten, Mr. President. You have. May this country forgive you."

That commentary by Olberman was just great. And the commentary quoted above is a great refutation of everything that the Admin honchos have been saying in the last couple of weeks. (So true, so true.)

5. This was wonderful!

The anger was real and justified. He lost friends and when he spoke about breathing in dust of the deceased (paraphrasing) it was horrifying. His statement was such a strong and a personal tribute to the people who lost their lives. It brought tears to my eyes.

I've always loved KO, but this was his finest moment thus far, by far.

6. Wasn't he BREATH TAKING ???

Honest to God, I practically held my breath through the whole commentary. I could feel the pride, and tears welling up in my throat, and finally they came spilling out. I felt like I had just been awoken (?) from a long nightmare! What a relief, when I could finally EXHALE!!! I watched it twice last night, then I couldn't fall asleep for the longest time, because I was afraid when I woke up, I would realize that it WAS just a dream !!!!:wow: I think the country is turning the corner guys, from my mouth to God's ear. I don't know if my poor ole' heart can last through this campaign '06 !! It's exhilarating, terrifying, and all too exciting, and I love every minute of it!! Score TEN for the good guys today!! Love y'all DC

7. it was great

i usually odn't watch his show. but i tuned in just to see this. the whole thing was good with the show of Cheney and Bush lies and hypocrisy.

and all he did was report what was going on, what news should be about.
