Ok this just occured to me: Bush gives a health speech. Kerry gives a health speech at the same time. Bush pre-tapes an interview to be shown on Sunday. Kerry goes on Meet The Press live on Sunday. Might be a coincidence, and it might be the actions of a shadow president. ;)

As for the Bush interview--you guys should watch it on Cspan tv or website. It's really amusing, especially after seeing JK today. The guy (*) is such a waste of space. He said nothing. Then the two historians were asked to comment--they had very little to comment on. I can see that * is trying to build up the ol' Legacy thing. Trying to act serious. Sorry, no sale. He kept saying how he read a lot of books at bedtime--20 pages a day! It's funny, so try to see it.

3. Brilliant quote

It turns out that the President better have seen the day that has gone in order to be able to help lead to the day that is coming. In other words, history really matters for the President. And so I read a lot of history books.

Of course, history doesn't matter for the rest of us...

6. That's a quote?
Seriously? Argh, there's so much wrong with it that I can't even start. It turns out??? Like this is something he just discovered as President??? "so I read alot of history books" Well isn't that special. Can't you just hear the kindergarten teachers across the country? "Children, the President reads alot of history books." Would it occur to any adult in America to ask what the fuck he's learned from one of them?

:argh:

That's why I don't watch the asshat. Two sentences and I'm read to toss my computer across the room.
