Are you watching Jon Tester?? |
|
You will like him very much.
And the rest of it is too funny for words. Burns talking in circles, the Libertarian applauding impeachment.
Pretty good fun!

with Tester and Burns. Tester is great, I like him, he speaks from the gut and heart, I have a thing for his type. ;-)

6. Talk about a conspiracy theory nut!! |
|
I'm bummed -- I had my TV on PBS. I didn't realize this debate was on after Allen/Webb, so I just now tuned into Nut #1 Burns and now Nut #2.
It would be kinda funny to have that Jones guy in the Senate, though. Just for laughs.

10. Yeah, well you see why Burns looks sane |

More than a few of those types in Montana, we just knew where they lived and gave them a wide berth. Then the militia movement took off and they started to fancy themselves the original 'freemen'.

8. Wow! First time I ever really saw Jon Tester! |
|
He is awesome. I love the cadence of his voice. I thought he was great. And loved his ad, too.
Damn, this is beginning to feel like 1994, except in a good way. We have some very good candidates.

9. I will have to check this out online |

I visited Montana for the first time this summer and I found the people there to be very nice. I hope they get the kind of Senator they deserve, not this Burns fellow, who should start enjoying his well-deserved retirement.

11. Tester was excellent. I think he is the best among the new Democrats |
|
I got to hear in debates this year. Both offering solutions and not afraid to give some punches when necessary.
And the libertarian was crazy enough with his conspiracy theories that he made the debate funny to watch.

13. I saw the replay late last night. |

Tester was superb. He's a farmer, teacher and member of state gov't. Smart, informed, and just plain nice. Also seems tough and not about to take any guff from anyone.
Burns was whiney and defensive! And the Libertarian guy was just comic relief, no more. Nobody even rebutted his points. According to him, there is a conspiracy to create one world government with a constitution based on Russia's and a whole new currency. Oh--Kaaaay.....
Speaking of Cspan last night, is this really true? Between debates they were saying that Hillary Clinton has given a million bucks to candidates and supported 20+ candidates. Sounded good, until they said that John Kerry has given ten million bucks and campaigned for some 120+ candidates! Way to go, JK! Everyone else pales. :) :) :)
