Update on my "Adopt a Pundit" strategy (Mr. Sully) |
|
Andrew keeps ignoring my e-mails about Kerry, so I've slightly changed tactics. I send him interesting stuff that I know he'll want to read and use for his blog. And, today, he used a blog entry by an Iraqi on his site that I fed him two hours before (he definitely got it from me, no doubt). I'm not sure how this helps the cause for John Kerry in hounding DC pundits (although, technically speaking, Andrew is in NYC), but I feel the need to keep trying. And, if he is grateful for my providing him with material to fill his blog (a daunting daily task if you think about it), maybe he'll consider reading one of my pro-Kerry e-mails from time to time.
Here is the post (I'm removing the hyperlink, so just copy and paste).

I guess he's now used three things I've sent him, one being a Kerry quote, one being that document from the U.S. Ambassador to Iraq on how bad conditions were for Iraqis, and now this Iraqi blog post. Makes me think these A-List bloggers don't actually do that much work -- with such large readerships, they just check their in box for material. Now I'm beginning to feel used on a fruitless expedition of convincing these nimrods that Kerry is the one to lead this country, but I will continue this mission anyway!

3. I think it's a good idea |

Over time, he'll trust your judgment and news nose, so I think it's better to send a variety.
Did he mention anything about JK on Maher, because that was a good interview. I watched Maher 3 times and missed the beginning every single time. I finally caught the whole clip at the JK site, and it was a good interview. I think he's becoming very comfortable with a more forceful style and has perhaps realized the new generation not only refuses to walk on eggshells, they don't even recognize there's eggs to begin with.
I'm feeling just like 2003. Not only do I really like JK who is always right on the money with any issue, but there really isn't anybody else that's ready to be President anyway.
