but no surprise. I keep thinking he can't sink any lower, and then, he keeps going . Wonderful smilie! Perfect choice! I'm going to have to get more closely acquainted with the full potential of those emoticons.

Lieberman is a lost and confused soul! I don't care about his positions that align him with the Democratic Party. He is in full support of a number of wingnuts and their policies!

probably to shore up the Republican vote in CT. He's got to keep that Republican whackjob at 5% if he hopes to win...
This whole thing really sucks... if Lieberman wins, he'll have even less of a reason to vote with Democrats than before. Hopefully his right wing pandering will convince some of those CT Dems that have been supporting him to switch to Lamont. Lamont should campaign on this - that Holy Joe is turning into more of a Republican every day.

while they aren't democrats they certainly lean more left than right. i don't see how they can continue to support Lieberman. is is based on seniority and bringing home the pork ?
we really need to get at why these people continue supporting Lieberman. if it was anyone other than Lieberman they would not support them. even the Republican candidates feel the need to move to the left in order to win while Lieberman is way out there.
and i'm not talking about the Republicans who are a minority and will support Lieberman no matter what. those who lean center left still make up the majority regardless of party.
