Okay, I already know that DD and Tay can't make it. Nobody else? I really badly want to go! But alone?? I would feel totally lost there without you guys.

1. I am so sorry, but I cannot attend
I begged off two Saturdays in a row from my local Govs race and I think the MassDems will come after me if I skip out on a 3rd one in a row. My apologies.

3. I'd encourage anyone who is able to attend to attend --
This event has the makings of a "typical" NH-style campaign event. Unlike Saturday's JJ dinner with 600 in attendance and a sit down dinner, this will draw a manageable crowd with lots of mingling opportunities. The location is in downtown Portsmouth, a very attractive old seaport on the NH coast. The event will end early enough to allow plenty of time for wandering around downtown, lots of nice restaurants, shops and watering holes. If you're going to be in the area, I'd highly recommend that you come to the event.

8. Okay, I'm going
It sounds interesting. Thanks for letting me know. It's about 70 miles from here and I wanted to visit the area anyway. I will try to be courageous and go alone. *sigh* My friend isn't coming because she wants to hike in the White Mountains and I can't blame her for it.

25. Thanks is there a cost?
Do you have to register, pay early or just show up?

I will go either way but the last event was sold out so I want to make sure we sign up if needed.

You can probably just show up but, to be safe, you can register here in advance:

4. Unfortunately, I can't make it either.
But I'd definitely echo what cmnh said. Portsmouth is one of my favorite seacoast spots. It's just a beautiful place with a lovely museum (Strawberry Banke) and a downtown full of old buildings. It's not too big and overwhelming, either. A perfect day trip.

5. I wish I could be there, but the cost of another airline ticket and time
off from work will not go over to well. It sounds like this is an important event also.
By the way, nice to meet you both over the week end.

6. I am in similar position as Tay Tay
I am not quite so committed but 90% of my efforts for the next 3 wks are for Patrick-Murray support. I may be interested if I get enough Mass gov outreach work done on Thursday and Friday.

And I'm sorry that you can't come back for another weekend. I guess I'm the only one near enough to Portsmouth and still on vacation. *sigh* I hope to meet you again in December.

11. You make me feel so guilty about this.
(Ahm, that's not hard to do, btw.) I cannot go, the other Mr. Kerry in MA has a commitment from me to do some work to get a great Democrat elected Gov. (Really. I am committed to this effort. And, ahm, they know where I live. You haven't met my district coordinator. If I don't do that lit drop on Sat., well, let's just say, it won't be pretty.)

12. Please don't feel guilty
I know that you guys are busy with an election to win right now. And that's more than important! From this point of view it was just my bad timing to come over now. But I don't regret it. I'm already very thankful that you took time off to show us Boston (that was so sweet!) and that we all met last weekend. It was a blast! And I hope I'll be able to make it in December.

20. That's so cool!
I hope you can make it and I'm looking forward to meeting you :-) Will you only go to Portsmouth or to one of the two other NH events as well? I guess I can only make it to Portsmouth as I will leave North Conway at 11am and have a 2h drive down. I will PM you to exchange phone numbers and/or arrange a meeting time and place.

Health care event with NH State Senate candidate Kathy Sgambati

22. Nashua to Laconia is a hike.
It's about an hour and ten the way I drive. From what I hear, they will make it in 45 or so. (LOL!)

I might be able to go to Nashua, depends on where it is. (Ahm, it's the next town over from me, so it's not a difficult trip. But I have obligations to the MAssDems, which gets damn confusing. The other Mr. Kerry owns a piece of weekends till election day.)

24. Too much driving I guess
I asked at the hotel as Laconia is the closest to N. Conway. But the events are too close in time for me to do all the driving up and down. If you really go to Nashua, I could maybe leave earlier in the morning and drive down there. Vreni and I, we do a lot of driving here for our pleasure and to see the region anyway. So why not come down to see you and JK. Would you know by tomorrow if you can go? Because I have to make arrangements for the rental car by tomorrow night 5pm.

26. No, go to Portsmouth.
I would be too rushed to see you in Nashua. Portsmouth NH is a beautiful old seaport town and deserves to be visited in it's own right. You will have a good time. Lots of lovely scenery, restaurants and gorgeous views of the ocean. Go, don't rush, look around, see a certain Senator and have fun. I will, hopefully, see you again soon. (Like Dec.) The Nashua event is a quick hit at 11:00 am, don't rush for that. Go to the Portsmouth one. You'll love it and Cadmium and Rox are great company.
