Kerry joins chorus calling for overhaul in Iraq strategy

WASHINGTON Senator John Kerry joined Republicans and his Democrats in a call to Iraq's prime minister to crush militias blamed for rising violence.
President Bush continued to express unwavering confidence in Nouri al-Maliki's ability to overcome sectarian violence.

But voices calling for overhaul of the war plan continue to get louder.

Senator Kerry said either the Iraqi government will resolve political differences or they don't. He says (quote) "if they don't want to, there's nothing American troops can do."

Military officials say two U-S troops were killed today (Sunday). The overall U-S death toll in Iraq has surpassed two-thousand-780.

3. Odd;y because they gave him so much flack on Kerry/Feingold

and because they disagreed with his position from April to September (at least), I doubt they fool many people. Anyone concerned enough to read - likely read everthing over the last 6 months.
